Yea, I was quite happy to change my brakes at a Lexus dealer. Got a quote from some brake specialist place and it turned out to be more expensive.

omg .... glad I'm not the only one. my bonnet looks like it has rabies. the stone chips are so bad, I'm thinking of respraying the whole bonnet. I got a quote for $400 just for the bonnet. How did the ventureshield stone guard kit go? Apparently it cost $1400 for the bonnet, front bumper and side mirrors?

Didn't realise that the left front shock and right front shock are different. Just received my F sport shocks set from US and they sent me 2 X right front shocks. Luckily I checked the part number and realised that I needed a left front shock. Lexus of North Miami has been great. They are sending me the correct left shock and I get to keep the extra right shock as a Christmas present ! Now that's service ! Highly recommended if anyone is interested. Super cheap posted as well compared to Sewells. Apparently these new F sport shocks and springs have been retuned. Couldn't find out the difference on the web. If anyone has read anything about these retuned parts, please do let me know. I only know that the retuned springs are to address the clunking noise found in the back springs.

Wow ! $900 for 90K is cheap ! Did my 90k service with Lexus of Parramatta and I paid close to $1600 !!! (including rear disc pads change). I think without the disc pad change, it would be $1300. And my car is still under warranty. Oh well. At least they did a good job. I guess I have to go shopping around lexus dealers for lower service fees ???

Can't wait! Just ordered F sport springs and shocks from US. I like ldc's drop on the tanabe's. Hope the F sport will look as good.
