In addition to what S.Gregory said: The F sport and Sports Luxury both have 18" wheels but different styles. Sports luxury has both driver and passenger seat memory whereas, F sports only has the driver. I think they both have different Scuff plates as well. (Sports Luxury has illuminated door scuff plates where as F sport doesn't).

I would assume so, the current IS has been in production since late 05', maybe a new one would be introduced sometime during 2012... Lexus keeps a pretty low profile about new models.

Hi guys, I just came back from a Lexus dealer and was told about a new 2011 IS250 X, not the previous 2007-2008 X edition, an all new one. From what I remember, it comes (In addition from the prestige + emv ): - Sports Pedal - Red leather or red stitching on the leather (cant really remember) - 18inch alloys from the Sports luxury - Moon roof is an optional extra There's more options but I don't really remember, Lexus Australia hasn't release any details about it as of yet but will soon as the first X edition only came in today. Just letting the members know so they don't head off and buy a prestige only to be shocked with the release of the new 'X' editions.

For my previous IS250, my battery ran out, I called Lexus Australia who then called NRMA batteries and replaced the original battery for free under the 4 years/100,000km warranty. The new one they put in (NRMA branded) comes with 3 years warranty.

Hi Gordo, Have you tried applying the handbrake before watching the DVD. My one only works if you apply the handbrake, if the hand brake isn't applied then there will be sound but no videos.

Not sure if this answers your question but I have a 2007 IS250 Prestige and I can unlock/open the windows and moonroof simultaneously when I hold the unlock key on my remote for around 5 seconds. Vice Versa.

Damn man, If it makes you feel better, I recently had someone push a shopping trolley into the rear bumper, not once but twice, took some paint off as well. I'm starting to realise that the shopping trolleys end up next to nice cars in the car parks now.

I had my 75k service from Lexus of Chatswood earlier this year, paid $498 for it. Got some free chocolates and a dodgy car wash. From what i remember, Lexus of Parramatta quoted me around the $600 mark, not sure on the exact amount though.

Hi all, I bought a 07' IS250 prestige plus EMV just recently and loving the car! I was close to purchasing an IS250X but it was over my budget. I've changed the standard 16' prestige rims to the 18' SL from an IS250C. Will post pics up once i clean the car. Hope to make it to the next 2IS meet. Huge thanks to the forum, helped me make the right decision purchasing the is250. Thanks Peter
