  1. I'm ..exactly why I picked up my second F too, tried everything out there but as an overall package nothing beats it.I wonder how you would rate it against the M3 after owning it? Welcome back to the F family! Ps: having owned the 08 model which needed the KW upgrade I would not touch the new cars they are just fine. All they need are headers, intake, filter and possibly exhaust IMHO. Thank you. To be honest the M3 is more exciting to drive as it revs to 8300rpm and sounds awesome plus I think the M3 seats and driving position are better than the ISF, seats have a lot more adjustability. I agree the newer ISF have better suspension than the older models and they drive nicely, I just think they sit a little high especially at the front so I'll be putting in coilovers or lowered springs along with an exhaust to free up some noise.
  2. Let me know who's got what for sale and how old/km they've done. The coilovers I found in the for sale section are sold.
  3. Aren't they 2014 LED upgrade fog lights? What happened to the Novel carbon guard vent covers you had?
  4. I agree that the inside is very dated now but after weighing up performance (naturally aspirated V8), reliability. bulid quality, value for money etc. there not much that compares with the ISF.
  5. Previous car http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/11701-bullits-build-thread/
  6. Some of you may remember my last car which I sold and regretted. I bought a couple of BMW's one of them being a very low km E90 M3 which I really liked and also regretted selling recently. Anyway after several weeks of searching and negotiating I just finalised the paperwork on a 2013 Black on Black ISF which is being shipped to me now from dealer. The car was built and complied Feb 2013 and first registered in September 2014, it has only done 5,700km and I am the first owner as it was still a demo, has factory warranty until September 2018. Have a few mods planned but nothing over the top...
  7. Brisman has sold his ISF. I think you will find the JoeZ with headers very loud, almost to loud for daily driving. I don't have the JoeZ but have been in several cars that do have it, I can tell you they do drone quite a lot but sound awesome. PM RecursiveLoop (Elgin) he has a Borla catback and headers and that sounds really good and not overbearingly loud. I have an ISS Forged DES system and I love it, no where near the drone of the JoeZ.
  8. May be wrong but think its around $700
  9. Couple more, I'll get some more recent ones done soon
  10. One of my favourites, been a couple of changes since this picture
  11. Marvin, I swapped my foglight bulbs to Phillips Crystal Vision and they are pretty much a perfect match to the headlights. they're not LED but look very white.
  12. Definitely keen to catch up and hear your car. As much as I'd like to put headers on I'm not sure I could cope with it daily as I am in the car most of the day and constantly getting phone calls, my clients already comment on how good (or loud) my car sounds when I'm talking to them. Surprising to hear the droning has gone.
  13. Elgin your car sounds awesome. I think the Borla and headers is the perfect combo. In my opinion the JoeZ and headers would be to loud at least for daily driving. Congrats
  14. Elgin I would be keen to catch up once you have headers installed. Your car is going to sound like a beast. Have you seen this clip with lots of different exhaust/header set ups.
  15. Your getting headers, did you also order the JoeZ? Who's doing the install and what brand of headers did you go with?
  16. Maybe you could get this MY11 for 75k http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Lexus-IS-F-2010/SSE-AD-2073486/?Cr=9 In my opinion one of the best colour combinations
  17. You guys know what stealers are like they want to buy cars at cheapest possible price hence the crazy trade in/wholesale prices they offer. I still think you can get a MY11 for mid high 70s privately (with low km) and maybe early 80's from dealer. In relation to MY12 I think high80's and very early 90's would be a good buy. I am only relating to my experience as I change my cars every 18 months - 2 years so need to get best price possible to offset the depreciation.
  18. Maybe your right but a friend recently went to a lexus dealer to trade in his 2010 ISF with 40,000km and was offered between 50-55k! I think ISF prices are falling hard like all high end cars, probably more so ISF as it hasnt really changed since 2008. Unless you plan on keeping car for 5 plus years your going to lose a lot of money. On a side note to the OP I had an RS5, C63 and M5 prior to ISF and have to say this is one of the best cars I've owned.
  19. I Bought my MY11 for 76k with 15000km 6months ago so I have have to disagree with you. It would be even cheaper now. ISF prices are dropping rapidly like all high end cars.
  20. I owned an M5 V10 and have to say it was one of the best cars I have owned and very reliable, admittedly I only kept it for 18 months and was in new car warranty. In my opinion the ISF is by far the most reliable if comparing to euro cars. If you could pick up a MY12 in very low 90's I think it would be a good price. You could even consider a late 2010 early 2011 (MY11) with low km which i Think you could get for 75k. Keep in mind the ISF is at the very end of its model cycle so prices are going to drop.
  21. I was also considering other options for pads/rotors as the OEM parts are ridiculously priced.. Brisman just paid $2800 for front rotors and pads at dealer. I wonder if you installed the hawk products it would void your warranty? Are the Hawk pads low dust?
  22. In my opinion that's not really a good price you can buy a new car for same money from lexus dealer. Quite a few lexus dealers advertising new or demo ISF for 109k drive away and I reckon you could squeeze an even better deal if you pushed them. You could even look for a low km MY11 ISF which is pretty much the same except for wheels and get an even bigger saving.
  23. Emblems look really good not sure about the bumper though. There was a post on clublexus where someone blacked out the intakes which looked pretty good. Good thing about plasti dip is you can easily remove it if you don't like it
  24. Marvin the emblems look great and good to see you have kept your car clean.
  25. Donald your car looks awesome with the. KW's. I told you the ride is a huge improvement from factory suspension. What's next?
