  1. I have V20 too - did yours have a "loading new maps" screen. I remember that would happen whenever I would update maps on my old Toyota but it didn't happen with the Lex?
  2. 1. Sports Luxury 2. Prestige 3. Sports You are correct. Easiest way to identify the Sports Luxury is the front emblem - It's the Lexus symbol incased in black plastic as it holds the precollision radar underneath it vs just the logo sticking out. There's the button with the car radar under the call buttons which is for the radar cruise (picture is of an ISF) Illuminated door sills + woodgrain trim Sports - easiest giveaway is the Alacantara Suede seats and sports pedals Prestige - easiest sign is no parking sensors, no HID headlight washers, doesn't have the electronic steering wheel which retracts/extends when you turn off/turn on the car.
  3. This only works for 05-06 models I think. Newer models can't do this - you'll need a bypass switch.
  4. Thanks, noted - I'll see if I can go past a road with one of those speed signs with the smiley faces. Does anyone know the speed rating on the stock 17" tyres?
  5. Yep, I'll see what speed the GPS is going. Will this also have an effect on the km reading of my car too? (eg. will it read 1000k earlier)?
  6. QLD rules are: The rolling diameter cannot increase more than 15mm and cannot decrease more than 26mm. Seeing as it's a reduction in rolling diameter it should be fine, is that right?
  7. It appears that QLD allows a max of 15mm dia difference from original spec. For your front it's 2.9 which is ok, but rears come out to be -23.6 - I'm not sure this is legal... Are you sure the spec is 245/35 for rear and not 255/35 or 245/40 ? Oh wait, it's 255/35/18 for the new rears. Keep getting the sizes mixed up - would it be within the limits now?
  8. Thanks! Relayed the right tyre size info to the shop and they said it's all good now haha.
  9. Anyone interested in a brand new set of 2014 F-Sport wheels? They were taken off on day of delivery - brand new OEM tyres left on. Bridgestone ER33, front size: 225/40/18, rear size: 255/35/18 - check how much the tyres cost alone. Price is $3000 negotiable, located in Brisbane. Here's some pictures: Send me a PM if interested :)
  10. Sorry, you were right. The 18" rear was 35 profile sorry, edited initial post. Stock size is: 225/45/17 and 245/45/17 New size is: 225/40/18 and 245/35/18
  11. Hi guys, I have stock 17" tyres which are a staggered configuration of: 225/45/17 and 245/45/17. I want to put on some 18" wheels from the new generation IS and the tyre size is: 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. I asked a tyre shop and they said "225/40/18 matches the height of a 225/45/17 so the tyre you have for the front (225/45/18) is too tall. Are you sure your current rear tyres are a 255/45/17? I would have guessed 255/40/17, in which case a 255/35/18 is ideal." A few shops have said that the tyre size on the stock 17" wheels is a bit strange...
  12. I ask for the replaced parts back when doing a service to know that it's been done - they don't have a problem with it. The 75k service requires the removal of the rear seats to access the fuel filter, I'd probably feel a bit better taking it to Lexus for that one as they know exactly what they're doing when they service 250's everyday but not sure how hard it would be for an independent?
  13. Is this just the normal direct injection ticking noise? I found mine quietened down with Edge as well.
  14. Hi guys, I've read a few reviews online where they rank the IS350 better than the F30 335i, just wondering if anyone here has cross compared the two and what your thoughts were about the pros/cons of each? I wanted a 335i before but now I'm not sure lol.
  15. Yes, you remove the cover to the highbeam right and it's under it? It should just turn out. I didn't have to take the air filter box out but on the other side it's a bit easier if you loosen the water reservoir thing.
  16. This is a 2008 thread and akuma hasn't been seen since 2009 lol but yes replacing your T10 parkers is enough - you don't drive around with the highbeams on with other people around so you don't have to change them (well hopefully you don't lol).
  17. Nope, OBC are normally common on german makes. They are direct replacements.
  18. Hi Matt, Just curious as why you're hunting it down? Do you want to buy it back lol. Which E92 model do you have now?
  19. How much does a major major cost on the ISF? I really want an M3 for my next car but don't wanna be raped with servicing costs.
