Someone in another forum just purchased an IS250 Prestige under the assumption that it was a Sports Luxury like the dealer advertised: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2403797 I can see this mistake on plenty of carsales listings - if you're in the market for a Lexus, make sure you're able to tell the difference between the different trim specifications. I wonder what recourse the dealer will provide?

Headlight's don't interfere with PCS, it doesn't have AFS which is why the AFS light flashes.

In the US you can get the F-Sport grill with PCS option for the 2013 model. AFS flashing you have 2 options - take out the speedo and tape up the LED or pull the fuse and disable your auto-levelling system too.

I had mine done today. Got a coffee and cupcake on arrival, a IS300h loaner and finally some nice chocolates upon pickup. They washed my car too but there's minor swirls in the paint now, oh well. Letter came in last week and booked in today (New Lexus dealership, only opened for 2 weeks so no wait).

Hi guys, I just received the recall letter today and it said "During this time, they [the dealer] will assist with alternative transport to ensure minimal inconvenience to you". Just wondering if anyone has had the IS250 fuel recall done and if a loan car was provided?

It's located behind the clock panel. See the two small holes there? There's a two tools in the toolkit that slot into those pin sized holes and it allows you to pull that panel out.

Theoretically - If a dealer sells you a car as a SL but it turns out to be a prestige, can you take them to the ACC for false advertising?

Think you have to go to the dealer, you can't use the whereis disc maps with the HDD system.

I asked an independent mechanic for all my parts back - old filters, chuck the oil filter in the plastic bag for me, bottles etc. I guess they expect it from some people though.
