Guest ldc2012
Car's been running sluggishly and not like it used to, i feel a tuneup might be needed. Has anyone done a tuneup at places like UltraTune?
LEX51S
Ultra tune have all the tools and machines to do the work but not necessarily the passion or workmanship. I used them only because of the mechanics passion and honesty about parts and practices.

LEX51S
how many km service is it. Ask him lots of questions. An owner run (owner works on cars). It will generally be a better place to take your car.

Stormfront
This sounds n00by even as I write it but is it not worth even considering any dealerships for a tuneup? Cheers, Stormfront
ldc
No warranty left = no dealer servicing = save money = buy other things with that savings.

I'm scared of being ripped of by the dealers :( Justin not all ultratune have the passion. ALL ultra tune are MADE TO buy the machines and facilties they would need. It comes down to personal passion of the mechanics. I know the people at narellan and they were great. Its personal choice. They left ultra tune. And i still go to them. Its all about finding a passionate mechanic that knows thier stuff!!
