Hey guys, just wondering if this is across the board, my car seems to exhibit outside air flowing freely from the buttoms on the side window consoles.

Not sure why.

i can feel air coming in from my speakers on the doors on the passenger and driver side front

thats the only thing i can think of right now

Put your hand over the window buttons and see. Go for a drive....

u mean the windows buttons, as in the buttons to control the side mirrors?

and the lock the doors??

Yeh, and it's alot noticable from under the 4 windows buttons.

Mine certainly doesn't do that. Sounds very odd to me. Try closing the windows above 160kph :)

Mine doesn't do that either. Have you check what vent/circulation setting your on? Maybe it's going to the footwells?

Posted

Yeh the vents and windows etc are all closed.

yeh i checked today

i get wind coming in

only if i put my hand over it i can feel it

and from the speaker right above the window controls

everywhere else seems fine

i did have my sunroof open tho when i checked

My wind flow actually comes up out of the buttons, no where else.

Hey ldc...

Yeah, I noticed that my car did it from day dot.......................you definately notice it in the cold winter months because you will have the heater blowing, and your elbow would freeze!!!!

I just got used to it!!! Let us know if you investigate further.....

i actually tried this on my car

mine doesnt do that at all

It wouldn't be much of a feeling during the day. Did you test it out at night?

Like ProjectIS said, it's really noticable when it's cold. Last night mine felt like as though i openned the fridge (just but hovering my hand over the buttons).

Yeah, I get that too, cold air from the buttons, and a bit from the edge of the door where your arm normally is. It varies depends on how the cabin is pressurised, I think that only happens when air cond is set to recirculate. Would have to check that.

Yeh it's the moonroof on tilt that caused the air to flow around the console (or for me up and out of it). There is a scientific answer in CL.
