Lexo
This recall now affects our local models - IS250/350/GS350/RX350. http://news.theage.com.au/drive/motor-news/toyota-to-recall-17-million-vehicles-worldwide-20110126-1a5hj.html
Poisson
Do you have any further details, or a link to such? Interesting isn't it - last year the Holden Cruze had a recall for a similar defect, but I never saw that in the press.

GS350(yeehaa) next year....and possibly GS250(yawn)
Lexus Nerd
GS350(yeehaa) next year....and possibly GS250(yawn) With Audi about to offer a $78,900 A6, and Mercedes-Benz offering something similar in the E-class, you'd have to think a GS 250 would be a certainty now, no? Either that, or the price of the GS 300/350 would have to drop by $20K (and get the fuel consumption reasonably close to that of the the competitors' entry-level models).
