  1. I did not know that you can use the paddle at will without engaging sports model. Thinking about it, the system shifts at the optimal level (fully auto mode), if you do it manually wouldn't this be a negative thing interms of optimal gear changes?
  2. Wow that's a cool plate you got there bro. Got more pics for us?
  3. I'm abit like this at times....can't make up my mind. Looks like tempetyres for me soon..
  4. whatdaheck why not, PM me your generosity.
  5. Oh man, i need glasses, sorry about that k2sty1, the is250c is really anyone's car, just the colour that may set it apart imo.
  6. k2sty1, i'm assuming you're female?? how about the IS250c (not that it's a girl's car, just thought you might want that sporty looks)?
  7. I wish i live in Melb. Seems like Honda and Toyota parts are sold readily there.... How does it get fitted? with tapes or drill holes?
  8. The interior is a beauty. The slanty centre console has that NSX feel, whereas the pop-up screen...merc?
  9. It's good to hear you are still looking, but when you said the Z, i'm just gonna not say anything... If you are a P plater, and want abit of action, R or Golf GTi. Action for less than $60-70K, is best on the light weight cars.
  10. I cannot wait for the comparison test. It's not a fair fight cos the 335i has a twin-turbo. ;)
  11. lol, ok 5 years...but wasn't it at the end of 2005? so make it 4ish?
  12. Ok so if the difference is 10K, which sounds ok, but starting from what? If the base 250 is around 56K, then the base 350 should be 66K as someone already stated. I think if the 350 is going to rival the 335i, it should be alot more expensive (over 100K)...but again to me this is pricey for what most think is still a Toyota?
  13. They will have to adjust the 250 price south, if they are to make the 350 price compatitive. I think anothing over 100K would be too high. I still can't go passed the claimed 0-100km/hr time of 5.6sec, it's ALOT faster than the 250.
  14. Awesome, perhaps the first really modded IS250 i've seen in Australia...this is after 3 years of it's release. I love the plate too
  15. More confirmation. 0-100 in 5.6 sec, that is quick for a luxury prestigue! http://www.carsales.com.au/news/2010/prestige-and-luxury/lexus/is/is-350-to-debut-later-in-the-year-18374
  16. Ok today i was along side this car heading West on Canterburry Rd....i'm 100% sure cos the rims are un-mistaking. Nice!.
  17. The centre big piece, has a joint that holds it down. You just need to pull the cover out carefully with abit of force and haste. Usually it comes out on your 2nd or 3rd try. If it's touch first couple of goes, just take you time and pull.
  18. That's pretty good. You will then need to have them put on, so another $150? Not bad for Teins.
  19. So $450 + $66 shipping (660/10) if we order 10. Or $480 + $88 if we order 5. What about the interstate distribution?
  20. I find the a/c affects more with smaller size cars. Not sure if there is a direct link between a/c and horspower, buti know the car works a little hard when it's turned on.
  21. You don't need to worry about A/C and performace in the IS. The engine is smooth and powerful that you won't feel a thing.
