I recently drove a few new and old is250s and noticed most of them, the stick was felt loose as i drove over bumps. At "D", when going over bumps i can feel the stick shakes from it's position, much like it's gone loose. I was shocked to notice this on a new is250 (the upgraded model).

Will using the manual mode too much lead to this?

Could you advice on Kings springs lowering when going with 225/35/19s? :)

Having seen the front shot, i would think he meant the wheels cannot go in much further. Given the wheel's offsets are +45 or +35, i would think he's got the +45 (the smaller the offset number the less outwards the wheel is based). If it is indeed +45 and he's got 40 series tyres on and it's rubbing, might look to get 35 series profile.

Project IS, how sure are u with 19s (and assumming 225/35 tyres) you'd need to roll the fenders?

If you don't mind, can u post pics of your wheels, i'm keen to see how they fill the gaps as you said very little gap left.

As for 235/40, if u feel the rubbing is abit much, might go back and get 225s.

Does anyone know if the stiffer sports suspensive can be compared to Kings springs. I know it's hard to compare cos i'm not sure anyone has Kings but i'm very sure Kings are still.

Anyone recommend lowering with Kings?

I have not heard of a book service that cost that much. I would never put my car in for service without getting a quote.

What else was done to the 90K service?

No point in buying a manual IS250 imo (unless it's the F but then again the 8 speed auto is not something i would want to just dish). The 6speed auto is flawless!

Which dealer did u go to? Para did it for me and the guy just losen the rail bolts and re-tighten it.

Just ring your Lexus Dealer and tell them you moved and and didn't receive any letter about this recall.

The dealers said something about powersteering issue as well, but my letter didnt mentioned this.

Has anyone else gotten a letter from Lexus?

Some potential issue with the slide pin apparently.

It's down to the individual taste but imo deep dish is not for the is250. this doesnt mean i do not think it look good, but only a very few does mind you.

To me the Is is about looking luxurious and classy, race and show car styles that are overly slammed does not go well with the description.

Got a quote from TTyres, $2200 with Hankook 225/35/19s. But the site has it $1999?

I know for a fact the M3 wheel do not fit the Is250, somoeone on the US site has them and they are just too BMW if you know what i mean. With the Rs4 the concave nature of the wheels makes the wheels look bigger and this is the ideal look for our cars. Deep dish is not suitable imo.

I did not know about the PCD differences but i hope the replicas come multifit.

Tempetyres sell replicas of these wheels and i'm woundering if they can be bought (WITHOUT the Audi caps). Anyone feeling these wheels? ;)

Re-tightenning of the rail bolts is the fix.

Is anyone here went to Sydney Hilton carpark to park their car today (white one with 20" ?).

Those are pretty rough surfaces. Does the bubble feel lumpy or is the spot actually flat?

I would not feel too bad about it on the bonnets, it's elsewhere that you worry about.

Like i said, the pearl metallic finish is more desired than the base metallic.

My other car a Camry (a 97 model) which i leave to rust so to speak, has the deep spec finish (not sure if it's pearl but it is deep spec'd) which still shines. I'm thinking if i have left if for dead and it still shine than the paint must have been a super paint. Again i ask, why didn't our silver colour Is250s come with metallic pearl finish as standard :(

Guys, surely i'm right when i say the metallic "pearl" finish allows for easier washing away of dirt and grimes than the normal metallic finish type. Those that have posted and have the metallic pearl finish and does the paint protection etc can easily comment on the effect of it, but can anyone with the non pearl finish say the same?

True that anywhere horizontal is where the dust settles, except the roof which i would think the wind blows if away. The car still shines no worries but the little black dust on the horizontal surfaces just don't wash off. I agree that no one would want to buy a resprayed car, will probably get it cut and buff as a couple have said. Just can't understand why they didnt make the silver a pearl metallic finish. :(

lol i'm not doing it yet. Just wanted to know the cost, but i feel it could be expensive. Something in the order of 5K at least.
