Hi Everyone, Just a quick question (sorry, but I haven't look at the manual) in regards to the car battery. If I disconnect the car battery, I am aware that the power windows will need to be reset, but will it wipe out previous address data inputs from the GPS NAV unit as well as the memory seat settings?

Hi Saj & welcome, As for having after market parking sensors installed they cannot be integrated into the sat nav screen and will only be audio beeps, even if you choose to get the sensors installed by a Lexus dealer. Sensors that shows in the nav screen are installed straight from the factory during the production of the car (sports & sports lux models)

Finally got to put on my new 18" F Sport Hyper Silver rims! My first mod :) Front 18 by 8 with 225/40/18 Bridgestone RE050A Rear 18 by 8.5 with 255/40/18 Bridgestone RE050A The pics were taken straight away with my camera phone (that's why the quality is grainy) but will take some more shots this weekend with my other camera.

I know what you mean. When I went to an Audi dealer the same thing happened and I can't help but feel like they would be looking at me and think that I don't have the funds to buy their cars. Besides... the IS was the right choice and it has always been and 2 years of waiting has paid off :P By the way, I forgot to mention that the 2009 SL comes with three keys. Two FOBs and one Credit Card sized key.

I have a 2009 model SL and yes you can change from full auto to semi by 'down shifting' the paddles when... let say you are in 4th gear for example. Then you will be in manual mode. It's quite handy when you are going to overtake. No rattles, has standard VDIM, white stitching on my black interior trim (looks quite good), the black/grey wood trim instead of the red.

The L-Care program is in other words the Lexus Premium Extended warranty. I purchased this when we signed up for our IS and our sales manager even mentioned that it covers even the sitching on the leather seats. So in total, if you purchase this, you have a total of 7 years warranty. It really depends on how long you inted on keeping your IS
