  1. the f sport ones are 2 piece from factory

if you wanted to save money and upgrade you can go DBA rotors for normal is350 and Rc350

its not 2 piece rotors but least u upgrade the rotors and go slotted

oh and not metnion much cheaper at atound 200-300 per rotor

    @ilv1004s - you sir are a genius!

Turns out that my wife had a loose empty freezer bag which  had been sucked out of the glove box whilst closed and then into that cabin filter space (and inlet above it) - causing a dramatic loss in airflow.

Using the instructions in the video to undo the glove box, boom saw it straight away, just yanked it out - (checked quality of filter but its still quite good) and boom we have air con again! Great news considering the next couple days forecasts!

    good to hear mate

    Hi guys

I'm in the market for a used white or orange GS-F (my first Lexus!). I've noticed prices have jumped from the $70s to $90s in the past 6mo as the COVID car market has put a rocket under everything. I understand this is a niche model with a small but passionate following. I also understand this car is no longer in production and no replacement is planned.

My observation is they typically sit on the market for several months because of their low profile/demand (I love that it's one of those Q cars that 'if you know, you know').

Do you see prices retracting back to pre-COVID levels any time soon? Any other advice for a first-time buyer?

    Cheers

    AG

i dont think it'll drop as much more like itll keep itself around there

i dont think covid has to do with it either

main points are for this is

    1. rare (even rarer now as 2020 is the last model)

    2. 5 year max model run

    3. no F model thats newer with 4 doors and a NA V8

  4. need to check codes  but it sounds like gearbox solonoids

    a service wont fix it

you need to replace the gearbox
once the vsc light comes on and car tricks to codes theres really no turning back for that gearbox

    the key is preventitive maintanence

if your in sydney bring it over and i can have a look at the car for u

but gearbox replacement inc labour supplied and fitted with a full service is 2800
