  10. I'm no expert but I think it is a little more comprehensive than that, in addition to the change in the accelerator change I believe it might also change the changing points and swiftness of the shifts. From our cars do not have a techy sports mode like the M3's I drive system it's a very simple car and it works bloody brilliantly you might feel that it changes the shift points due to the throttle not being open 100% all the time when you floor it with sports mode not being on once sports mode is engaged it allows the throttle to be open as much wider than when it's not in sports mode so the transmission ecu detects and shifts the gears through throttle input so the gear changes may vary between sports and non sports mode
  11. the gtr in the vid is the updated model with more power with more torque with more superior launch control system with more faster times :D
  12. im sure you guys are all aware of the sports mode function right?? it only sharpens up on throttle response. kinda like having a throttle controller and putting it on the most sensitive setting
  13. thats pretty much how i use it i rarely keep mine on sports mode
  14. oh and add a bit of premium lol if ppe and chatswood lexus was to see it for around 1.5K then id say thats a resonable price though anyhing more than 2K ill be starting to think that we'll be paying too much but would love to see some progress and more products for our ISF's
  15. unless you do back to back dyno sessions it's hard to prove though your bum dyno may feel the difference
  16. battery d/c is a common trick used by most Lexus tuners in the US for our cars as we dont have a proven standalone or piggyback ecu available for our cars the reset does not have to be performed by a dealer it maybe done at home by disconecting the battery for a X amount of time this allows the ecu to reset it's previous map settings and relearn the mods that you have performed on your car ie. adding an intake will increase the amount of air going into the engine. it will take around 3 full drive cycles with a few WOT sessions (wide open throttle) you will find that once you have reset the battery your car will run different to how it was previously. most of the time it will be running rich. once you have driven a certain amount of km's the car will have learned the new mods and adapt a new fuel and air mixture. hope this helps
