This is true if there were no resistance. but every globe has a resistance. a fuse is designed to protect the cable that is used. and the component shouldnt draw more then the cable can take, the component should have a specific resistance in which determines how much current it draws. LED globes need resistors in line with the diode to create this resistance. And if the resistor fails and short circuits, yes there is a problem and will not be solved by upgrading the fuse because you will damage other components in your car. ... . not fun!! if you remove the globes and fuse doesnt blow there is definately a problem with the globes or globe. Also keep in mind you are using 7W globes when your circuit and fuse is designed for 5W. you may have already caused damage to cabling or socket plugs already. but the fuse is doing its job and is protecting the circuit because it is blowing so you should be ok. the resistance difference for a 7W and a 5W globe is about 8 Ohms and will pull about an extra 1.3 amps per globe. as i said befor the cable is designed to take a max 10 amps so upping the fuse to compensate for the 7W globes may damage the cabling. Good luck fault finding!!

Just a little observation topic. Did you know. . . . . cruise control does not work in 3rd gear or above!! Cruising down the freeway on cruise control, came to a hill and wanted to hold a gear for the cruise control. and instead of flicking to sport shift and changing from 4th to 5th. I accidentally went from 4th to 3rd. (Speed was not an issue for third gear / revs) And the cruise control cut out. very wierd feeling hahaha.

I know you said that you have checked all fuses. But have you checked ALL the fuses. I had a problem on an isF where a similar thing happened and it was a really random fuse. The nav. Stereo. Clock. And bits on the dash have about 6 different fuses to power bits and pieces. And the fuse was a really wierd one that also has something to do with the power mirrors and windows.

Guys. On saturday i had the pleasure of taking the new GS350 fsport for a drive and a squirt. I must say the driveability with all the technology and gadgets was not overwhelming at all on when getting in and driving for the first time. First impression driving out the driveway and down the street. ... Powerfully solid. But not overwhelming. Next was the eco mode normal sports and sports plus. Some ppl were saying daily drive normal roads you would not feel the difference. I disagree. The sports plus feels alot more crisp compared to the normal driving setting which is superbly luxurious. The get up and go for the size of the car is suprisingly powerfull. Its got some great power and also felt really good from the back seat when i wasnt the driver. The back seat and space in the back is awesome and very spacious and also luxurious. I could go on for hours. I really cool addictive feature is the throttle blipping on a down shift. It sounds awesome and just ads to the great drive. HUD. I thought it would be intrusive to your drive but with night time falling it was suprisingly handy and made driving alot easier. The stereo is like nothing i have ever heard before. It was amazingly sensual to your ears. It does not even begin to compare to the mark levinson in the IS. Leather wrapped dash. 18-20 way adjustable seats hug you. The only dislike so far i have is the rear end of the car. Its nice but im still not sure. If i had more drive time on varying roads i could give a more detailed review. But as ive said so far. Plenty of power. Adjustments between sport suspension and luxury are great. Throttle blipping addictive and sounds great. Interior superior. Stereo clean crisp and amazing. Pick up and response solid and quick. Technology is well ahead of its time and will hold value for some time to come. Great car. Sooner or later. On what ive already seen i will be buying one. I could go on and on but i will leave it at that. Best advise i can give is dont judge it entirely on pictures. Its definately worth a visit and even further a drive. Check it out. Thanks DISLEXSIC love your work mate.

defnk, mainly cost and trust of the mechanic doing the work. I know them and know they are going to do a good job. and the cost for the parts and known quality of the parts. It came in at half the price approximately to a lexus service. Basically the quality for the price is what leads me to Q8. bang for buck. There is heaps out there that are "better" and prices all vary but its just something ive always used.
