just a question does it feel weird driving such a powerful turbo car, then a normally aspirated 153kw v6? my plan with cars, is to slowly gradually move up in power im hoping to keep my IS250 till i can get a M3 E46, then so on i just keep thinking it'll feel weird going from 400KW to 153KW

yeh, ive compared my cousins Prestige to my Sports (fully loaded) and he wants the nav, LOL my car also sits a little lower than his car, and the 18" rims look SOOOOOO much better than the 16's the suspension is actually quite a bit harder in my car aswell, but it IS the sport model, and i expected it to be hard also like i said before the camera is very convenient i wouldnt go as far as saying it feels like a Hyundai but it DOES feel alot different in my car compared to his, also his is leather and mines alcantara oh, and the lights on his are just the normal ones, mines got the xenon lights and i was really suprised at how it actually does allow u to see further than i thought his also doesnt have the active steering headlight thingy, it basically turn the headlights a little to the way ur turning but only past 10km/h (i think) but instead his has a dial thing that u can adjust how high u want the lights pointing i think my other cousins getting a IS350 when they land in australia, a fully loaded one, so i'll compare to that IF he gets one, since his off his P's end of this year, so can drive over 200kw cars then

i just checked the shipping, its $120, T.T so its $US280 together, so not getting it, :D plus i dont even have my car back yet, and i wanna do red outs first, and the fogs, might do that hole in the air box thing, and resonator delete update: not getting the red outs, more i researched, the blink red and it actually looks really bad when its blinking, but mad when its not, lol but i'll just keep the money and get some IS-F lights

lol, have any of u guys on the forum bought from Sewell Lexus??? im looking at the oem lip spoiler ($166.80 with my club lexus account) and its painted as well and i can easily(?) install it myself with 3M double sided tape (like FrankyX did, but he had the F one)

i've filled the car up once, and it was at BP with the BP Ultimate Unleaded 98 octane (i think that its called that) the car was REALLY low on fuel, the gauge was past the E marker, cuz i forgot to pump it up a couple of times while driving round, lol but it was $80 i think for a full tank, is this around how much u guys pay as well?? and is Caltex better or worse or any different?? thanks

UPDATE!! the car is now at Artarmon Northshore Classic Auto Body Centre i checked and its a lexus approved place, and i feel better now knowing its in safe hands, LOL they said it should be done around the 23rd!!

i actually quite like ur lights at first i didnt tho, but after seeing them a few times, they seem real nice with the LED's and all, nice choice man! cant wait to see it when i go to a meet after i get my P's (oh and does anyone know the weather for last year november, december, this year jan, feb, march??) just need to know wat days it was raining cuz i just noticed i forgot the weather in my log book!!! doh.... and can i get HID's for my fog lights?? ur pic of ur car looks SICK with the foglights on, i'd like to do that aswell, can u give me some info on where u got em, and how u installed em?? yep its just vinyl that covers the ugly orange part i just bought it to try, since everyone on CL seems to be on about them, they say its great for a cheap way to get rid of the amber and to me the amber part of the light is really weird/ugly and makes the car look bad i'll try em on, if its bad, i'll just take em off, like i said, its $12 so no biggie if it looks bad/flashes red

i quite like em, i guess its personal taste i'd much rather get IS-F tail lights, but im saving for a HKS Hi Power exhaust and this is just a cheap mod, its like $12 so if i dont like em, i can just peel em off anyway takes like 5 mins to put em on as well heres a comparison of IS-F tail lights to the red outs just noticed, damn that roof spoiler is nice, my future mods: OEM lip spoiler JUN roof spoiler black window visors all this before the end of this year, then more in 2011, im gonna keep the car for a while, so i dont want everything at once, plus i cant afford all of it at once anyway, lol and do u guys know how to take off the badges?? i wanna take off the LEXUS and IS250 on the back but keep the emblems thanks

yeh, ive heard stuff about AAMI, could u reccomend another insurer?? i got quotes from alot of em (allianz, justcar, youi, gio) but my mum wanted to just stay with AAMI cuz we were with em for ages, they also said my mum wont have to pay any extra cuz she was a sfae drier thingy, and the first ever claim the panel was crushed pretty bad, so i dont think they can just bend it back or anything, i think their gonna have to get whole new rear passanger door, and C Pillar, the rear bumper was bent slighty, but even i could just bend that back and just use some touch up paint i hope they dont stuff up the colour tho, is the Lexus Graphite colour hard to match?? oh, and i got a call saying it arrive at (forgot the name) to get inspected and assessed and they'll call us back when their done and they send it to the repairer

hey guys well on sat night me and my mum went out to meet my mums friend at the resturant she runs in the city (sydney) we were on george st and turned into liverpool st, and then right into kent st then some STUPID ########### decide to just stroll onto the road, so my mum had to "dodge" them, oh and did i mention it rained that night?! the car swerved and the rear passenger side hit a parked mitsubishi magna (lucky it wasnt a ferrari) the rear 3 quarter panel, rear passenger side door are damaged called AAMI and its gonna get towed on tuesday i think, i dont have the full details i did notice tho the car started to beep and tried to correct itself, but it was tooo slippery and couldnt :( man, WHY THE HELL TO PEOPLE JUST WALK ONTO THE ROAD WHEN THERE ARE CARS COMING THEIR WAY, AND THE LIGHTS ARE RED, they shouldnt be crossing the road are they freakin retarded, just before the crash, on liverpool st we had to brake real hard cuz 3 more dumb c*nts were just strolling across the road like it was a bloody walkway FML but its over now, i cant do anything bout it, just wish it would get fixed soon

there is extended warranty they said for me it was $2123.50 for 2 extra years (lol, i still have the papers they gave me so i know the exact price, :D) i decided not to get it as there werent any problems with my '03 RX330 even after 7 years of driving it (actually problems started to happen around 100,000kms, but they were minor) im sure if i wanted i could extend it later on (hopefully, lol) and i would DEFINITELY get the EMV its worth the extra $$$ the navigation screen is big and the display is crisp, and you also get the Mark Levinson 14 speaker surround sound, which is a must have, i think its quite a bit better than the standard lexus one, and ive compared both (mine has the ML 14speakers, my cousin has the non EMV 13 speaker lexus speakers) the lexus ones are in no way bad, just the ML sound is so good you also get Bluetooth, and a rear camera (great cuz the back windows kinda small, and the rear is pretty high)

easiest way would be just to go a AutoBarn or some auto shop and buy a new set, i doubt it expensive, $5 max or go to a lexus dealer and they should give u a new set my cousin went to Parra Lexus where he bought his car and they gave him 4 more
