wowowow, 12 hours, LOL i could do that just 10 times and have filled my 120 hours of driving necessary for my L's, LOL if u guys dont mind, when u go on that cruise, could u please tell me where u went and how my Km's u did i might not be able to go but i just need like 20~ more hours on my L's and would be great if u guys could help me out a little thanks !! also ive been looking over the old topics on this forum and read something bout the speedo reading the wrong speed mines a October 2007 build, will mine be affected by this problem?? and also how do u know ur speedo is wrong?? and is it reading MORE than ur actually doing or LESS??

ohhh nicee we should all put our stickers on a specific area so when we drive past an IS we can look there and see if there part of this forum i dont know anything bout this, so i'll leave it to you older guys yo decide on where to put the sticker and how big it should be and all that hard stuff, :P and looking at it again, i like the 1st one and the 3rd one the best

i'll just stick to 98RON i recon i filled our RX330 with E10 a few times, and i swear the engine was quieter than before (but it could have just been me thinking that way, lol) but anway, tomrrows the big day!!! too bad i have a freakin modern history test in the morning.... MAN! i hate the world, :D i'll try to get some pics up by tomrrow night, first thing is to drive the darn thing, :) then bring it home and change some settings and test all the features like bluetooth and all that stuff our RX didnt have, and then some pics in the garage with the Xenon lights one, :D!!! we're u guys this excited when u got ur IS250???

ok thanks guys i think i'd still rather just put in premium unleaded (is that 98RON??) and i'll just leave the car in PWR mode, can i still use the paddles to downshift in Drive?? or do i have to shift to Sport?? also im gonna be getting a OEM lip spoiler from chatswood asap (depends how much they are...) but if any live around milsons point and could help be put it on later (i'll just use 3M double sided tape) i would greatly appriciate it thanks cant wait till tomrrow after school!!!!!!

hey, well for me, we traded in our RX330 for $24000 which was ALOT more than expected (its a 2003 model with 113000km) for a trade in price but they also gave us a discount of $4000 off the price of the IS250 we're getting (2007 IS250 Sport fully optioned) is $4000 off the price good? its my first car so i dont know, :S so in all, the IS250 was 51,000 then discounted to 47,000 then tradein RX330 for 24,000 so in all we are going to pay 23,000 for the IS250 Sport. (put in a $2000 deposit today) we're picking the car up and paying the rest on monday cant wait!!!

a few more questions 1. wats the difference between D and S on the shift lever??? 2. wats the difference between PWR and ECT and SNOW on the switch near the steering wheel??? 3. last of all, wat fuel do i have to put into the car?? with our RX330 we just used Unleaded, but with the IS250 i wanna put in Premium Unleaded, or higher wat types of fuel are there?? (im 17 birthday was firday, :D, and ive put fuel in a car like 3 times, lol) 4. last one, lol, how do the front sensors work?? the sport has rear and front sensors, im guessing the rear ones only beep when in Reverse, but when do the front ones engage?? thanks also do u guys find the car a little "short" i mean when u sit in it, im 182cm and when i sit down my head hits the roof (i wax my hair) so i had to lower the seat quite alot but then that squashed my cousins foot in the rear seat, LOL so i guess my 11y/o sister has to sit behind the driver seat from now

hey guys we finally got our car! its a 07 Lexus IS250 Sports, in grey, with black alcantara interior, satnav, rear camera, front + rear sensors, sport pedals, 18" Sports rims, sunroof i LOVE it to bits!! we paid the deposit and paying the rest and picking it up on monday from Chatswood lexus Bashir there was really nice so excited! :D

even worse, a crash and kill urself or ur friends or other ppl which u have to live with for the rest of ur life, IF you dont die, and arent in a coma or paraplegic for the rest of ur life like i said, it was my cousin driving, when i drive, i "cruise" way under the speed limit, i piss off the ppl behind me, :P, just playing some nice songs, enjoying the music even tho im on my L's still, LOL

i just had a 2 hour lecture at school bout speeding and all that and decided its not a good idea to "highway weave" or "street race" although my friends and i still have some fun, but i dont wanna kill myself, my friends or other innocent ppl after seeing some pictures and videos of wat happens when u lose control at 160km/h and hit a pole, let me just say ###########!! plus IS250's aren't "fast cars" i'd rather go cuising down the street doing 30km/h pumping music from the Mark Levison speakers, but thats just me, although, before my cousin had a "race" with a porsche cayenne s it wasnt really a race, the porsche was on the left lane at a traffic light, and me and my cousin on the right. the left had to merge with the right lane, my cousin floored at when the lights turned green, but the porsche kept tryna get in the milf driving the porsche was crazy, so my cousin just let her in, didnt want to have a massive crash... LOL, and just a mini "race" with my friends bro's BMW 530i on a road near double bay, its a windy road, then a MASSIVE straight hill it was 3am in the morning and no cars around either

ehehehehhe my cousin has some crappy little tomtom even tho he has a lexus nav system on his IS250 the tomtoms just for speed cameras and that kinda stuff

ohh, kk just read the top gear aus mag with the new Golf R, seems nice, but i rekon the R32 looks more aggresive but anyway, im also looking at the new Lexus hatchback CT200H or something, but from wat i heard, its coming end of this year, so kinda late IS250 is the way to go i rekon!!

would lexus ever do that? with a trade in? we're gonna be trading out RX330 which is worth around $30,000 thanks

i know u cant drive the Golf GTI cuz its a turbo, but isnt the R32 a 3.2 V6 without a turbo? so that would be ok aswell and i never knew there were restictions for L platers aswell, i saw a CLK55 AMG L Plater at st ives once, o.O i have this thing for imports but also for euro/vip style cars aswell, thats why i couldnt decide on wat car, but thats to this forum ive decided on a IS250 for P's then gonna upgrade to a 350 later on or watever happens when i get my full license know i just need to wait till June 13th so i can go for my P test and get my IS250, :D and thanks for tha help, the IS250 is great for wat it does and i know its not meant for fast 0-100's and all that stuff also, if i have a "slow" car for P's then get a better car on full license it should feel even faster, XD

lol, well i gues its just my 16y/o immaturity and yeh, im looking at getting a EvoX or 370Z now, but gonna be a pain getting the RTA to approve those cars alos looking at some Civic Type R's but this car seems best, but still looking around and now im not concerned with performance as much, as said before, you can pay half of a IS250's price for something faster but im more worried if i get this on my P's, wat my friends would do to it, lols
