hey well i bought a pre-owned IS250 from Chatswood Lexus, so i got mine basically straight away but when we got our RX330, when it first came out in 2003, we speical ordered ours took like 3 months to get delivered my dad back then just told em after a few calls saying it would be delayed, to just call him when the car is actually at the showroom, and not even a day before, lol but i think dis-lex-sic would be able to give you more of a clear answer to ur question

nice to know do any of you guys know how to fix the sunroof rattle noise?? i get it only over uneven roads, but its not all the time either, just some roads i get it, some i dont but its really annoying, lol i heard theres a way to fix it but cant find the topic again, any help is much appreciated!

yeh, i dont think turbo's suit the Lexus IS but a 280kw, IS250 would be just insaaaane but the 0-100 time seems weird 10 seconds for 0-100? lexus claim 8.1 isn't the IS250 faster than that??

thanks cevu i was just getting some ideas for some mods that i could do as i've already said, ive never done any modifying to a car before, so i dont know where to begin i dont know where to get em done, or anything im gonna call up some places AFTER i get my P's (on tuesday) get some quotes and then decide what to do im sorry if i was causing trouble with the forum and asking old questions, but i did check all the way back on this forum and the clublexus forum as well, so i wouldn't be asking questions that had been asked before and answered a million times but i really thought this place had a "community" type feeling, and i hope it keeps it up, but not really enough members to keep it going IMO ps. yeh, i ve seen a few R35's youngest guy i saw looked round 25. or so, with his GF my cousin was driving and we tried to get a closer look at my dream car, but the guy just blasted down rose bay, and we couldn't follow him, damn thats one FAST car ive seen LOTS of evos and STi's with guys that are in their 20's and also 200SX's aswell and with the IS200, the one his looking at is $12,000 and done like 160,000km's that quite a lot, but i think as long as he gets it serviced regularly it should be fine, we drove our RX330 to 120,000km's and had no major problems plus we're 17, and can live with a few scratches here and there, lol our plans for the car are at first is just a new sound system and head unit, and maybe an exhaust will take it to a few shops after i get my resonator and muffler delete

lol, ok yeh i guess the GTR R35 is kinda a strech, but the other cars are actually pretty cheap compared to what i thought they would cost the 200SX is by far the cheapest tho, and i think it can be a real possibility basically im going from a luxo sedan on my P's to a turbo 2.0l on my full license, lol ps. my friends seriously considering buying a 2000 model IS200, anything he should watch out for?? thanks!

yeh, and plus the IS-F is a V8 so i cant drive it on my P's anyway and the 350 has over 200KW so i cant drive it on my P's either, lol gonna look into some more powerful cars for when i get off my P's tho Nissan GTR R35, BMW M3 E46, Nissan 200SX, Mitusubishi Evo IX or X, Subaru WRX STi one of these would be my ideal car for when i get off my P's, but i doubt i would get one of em anyway, lol might get a used IS350, should be plenty in 3 years right? lol
