ahh, ok well mine had the EMV (camera, nav, sunroof) and 27,000kms on it (i wanted one with lower km's but there alot more expensive) im assuming ur buying from a dealer most '08 prestiges with under 10,000kms are going for around 50K and with the EMV there around 54K (well they were that much when i was looking for a IS250 a month ago, in sydney) oh and any specific reason you want a 2008 model and not a 2007? is it just the km's or you just want a 2008? (i wanted a '07 cuz it sounds better than '06, lol!) you should also look at the IS250 X Limited Editions they go for around the same price as a prestige but with more features (has sunroof, 18" rims (the 16's look bad IMHO) nav, rear camera, sport pedals)

hey i got a 2007 IS250 Sport last week for $47,000, down from $50,900 they gave us $24,000 for our trade in (2003 RX330), even though it had a few scrapes, and dents, with 110,000kms are u looking for one with navigation and the rear camera, i think its called the EMV package or just an all out basic model?? (without nav and the mark levinson speakers)

im now looking for some S2000 exhaust tips this guy from Club Lexus installed them http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-second-generation/418563-just-installed-s2k-exhaust-tips-pics.html and they look amazing they fill the gap in the rear bumper perfectly, would anyone know where i could find S2000 tips in australia?? i dont really care tho as long as the tip are larger and fill the gap

congrats on the car man i picked up my 2007 IS250 Sports last week Wednesday its a GREAT car, and i dont even have my P's yet, getting them in June, :D i LOVE the Mark Levinson surround sound, better than my friends system in his Integra (aftermarket stuff) i really dont think i need to do anything to the car either, just needs a tint like yours, and some nice exhaust tips to fill in the gap at the rear bumper, maybe remove the resonator to give it a better sound up higher in the rev range aswell might look into a HKS Hi Power exhaust later on tho!! my family likes lexus, alot, LOL! my dad has an graphite IS250, my cousin has a white IS250, my aunt has an LS460, my mum had a RX330, my uncle had a RX350, my other cousin has a GS460! but most of them are in korea (my home country) but my cousin with the white IS250 lives in australia tho

i see a Lexus IS-F, black sometimes in the morning at Milsons Point, sometimes a women driving it, sometimes a guy the guy always trashes it down past the station, sounds soooo good, it actually makes me wanna get up for school, lol and there are also 2 Audi R8's at milsons point somewhere, and nice graphite Porsche 911, with BBS mesh style rims (any of you guys??)

ayyy since im not making any more topics, im asking my Q's in this one i was looking round for exhaust tips, so they are bigger at the back cuz the stock ones are too small cuz right now i cant afford an HKS Hi Power system i came across this site http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/index.php?cPath=374_377&osCsid=8d061f793b322b8544f6095e8509b496 and its australian and the exhuast tips are cheap like around $50 each, but i dont know wat size to get if one of u guys could just tell me which sizes (inlet size i think) and i'll just go measure how big i want the outlet size to be (im thinking around 3" - 3.5", i want the WHOLE of the cut out part in the bumper to be filled) thanks alot

hey guys i was driving tonight and i noticed sometimes when i brake, a squeaky high pitched sound comes from the brakes (front ones i think) my mum thinks we should change the brakes, but its only done 27,900km's and i thought brakes should last around 50,000km's i dont know that much and i dont wanna get ripped off by changing brakes for no reason, if you guys could tell me wat to change or wat to do i would really appreciate it im thinking i need to change the pads or something, not the whole thing tho thanks

ahaha, thanks guys really loving the car right now!! i took the photos outside kirribilli club (weird name cuz its on the milsons point side on the station, lol) i live right next to it and its a nice place to take pics also just wondering, did u guys find yourself just going to the garage or where ever ur IS250 was parked just to look at it or sit down in it??? today and yesterday i jept just going down to my garage just to look at the car and sit in it, just turned it on, listened to music and checked that DVD's work

and one more i just ripped music onto 4 CD's and loaded them to the car they play just fine, but i cant for the life of me find how to pause the music all i see on the screen is the CD1, CD2, CD3 etc, and the 2 buttons on the bottom left corner, and the files (or tracks, cant rmbr the name) icon on the top right, when i click the files icon, i can see all the tracks and stuff and i press one of them to play the song, but theres no pause, stop button anywhere on the screen or the car! plz help !!! i just wanna be able to pause my music!!!!

ay guys well i picked up my our car today and i gotta say well, i cant explain how good it is in words!!!!!! i just love the interior, its just so snug and luxurious, and the feel of the car is great, the RX330 was massive compared to how it feels to drive the IS250 and i love the handling and how the car holds the gear after u thrash it, and lift off the throttle, it still holds that gear and then theres instant power!!! only thing is, now i cant wax my car cuz it hits the roof!! even with the seat fully down i hair touchs the headliner and if i wax it its even worse, lol but whocares i guess, i can wax my hair after i get out of the car or something, ill figure it out :D just one question: do u guys drive in S or D?? i was driving in S and i like it better than D, cuz i can leave it at 4th or 5th and then if i need to over take i can downshift it myself

OMGGGG i just picked up our car 3 hours ago and its soooo freakin good i cant explain it in words!!!! yeh i asked the guy at the dealership that sold me the car and he checked and they said $1000!!! even he said it was a rip off and to not get it and my mums against putting anything on thats not from chatswood lexus i think i'll have to pass on a spoiler then and any other mods, for now. my mum still drives "our" car a few times a week if she goes out to meet friends, but she said shes gonna get the all new IS whenever it comes out and give the 250 we have now to me, then i can do watever i want to it!!!

hehehehe YESSSSS im getting the car after i go to first period just for a test then its time for IS250 fun!!!!!!!!!

hey guys well i get my car tomorrow and the first thing i wanna do it put on a OEM spoiler the one that points out, not the F Sport one if i got one through chatswood lexus how much do u rekon they would charge me to install it?? if its look much, i might just order it and just stick it on with 3M double sided tape (FrankyX did it like this im pretty sure) and if i do decide to do it myself, i would really appriciate it if someone could help me out a little with it i rekon it'll be hard positioning it myself and all that or where is the cheapest place to get the OEM spoiler?? i dont really car if its not from Lexus, cuz if anything goes wrong i can just take it off right? (cuz its just tape)

yeh thats wat i was thinking 1 looks good on the screen, but once on the car i think it could look a little too complicated
