  1. I'm more than impressed. That's what I'm saying. There are details that don't show up in photos. The F-sport front has more shape to it that doesn't come out in photos. It really is surprising. Plus the number plate bracket breaks up the front nicely. The back end is A LOT better too. Lexus designers have hit a home run with this thing.
  2. Welcome to the forum Spuddy & congrats on your first Lexus. $800 is certainly not what a dealer should be quoting you for a new Nav disc. That price is so far over I reckon there must be some sort of miscommunication. You sure that didn't include any other work? Here you go... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-TOYOTA-LEXUS-GENUINE-SAT-NAV-DATA-UPDATE-DISC-2013-WHEREIS-VERSION-19-/290887819342 FYI illegal copies aren't really promoted on here.
  3. This is a thread for the new generation IS that is coming out in July. If you want to talk about used IS-Fs & current gen IS350, maybe start a seperate thread.
  4. Features and spec on this new model are impressive. This car will be getting some Lexus first time features, for Australia anyway.
  5. I've heard that not all keys from different regions are the same frequency range. Can anyone confirm this? You'd hate to order & pay for a key from OS and it isn't compatible.
  6. Thanks for that Ezo, I hadn't read anything where Lexus had targeted any specific car. Why would they ignore the Benz C class? Won't there be 3 different engines & 3 different transmissions? 2.5 V6 2.5 hybrid 3.5 V6 8 speed auto CVT 6 speed auto? (IS250?) Apart from a manual what is missing that you want Ezo?
  7. Well I had an extended drive of the LS600h F-Sport last week. What a car. Awesome power and the all wheel drive means it sticks like a car that size shouldn't stick.
  8. Well I'm running V19 in my car and there is no difference in functionality to V18. I am running the new Lexus Hard Drive sat nav not the old DVD sat nav. The new Lexus Hard Drive nav is faster & the live traffic warnings are awesome. I really like the 3D view as well.
  9. Late 2012 RX's got the features your IS350 has plus a few more. Sounds like you missed out on getting Bluetooth streaming, hard drive sat nat that is quicker/better than DVD nav, Digital Radio, Live traffic alert in Nav plus a few other upgrades by a couple months. The late 2012 RX was more than just a facelift. There was a good upgrade in features/tech & a price decrease.
  10. I'm guessing you haven't read about the new 8 speed with a g force sensor that detects when you are cornering.
  11. Wait til you get a flat battery or have to disconnect the battery.
  12. The more info I hear about this car the more excited I am getting. It's going to be a good thing, no doubt. Technology wise I think we are in for a treat.
  13. Woah there Danny You are one crazy Lexus owner.........you're more of a small private Lexus dealership than an owner. I'm sure you've bought more IS-Fs than some country dealers have sold. What happened to the IS250 you bought to build the race car from???? That's what you were doing before wasn't it? Keep up the good work Dan.
  14. Our RX model are built in Japan whilst their's are made in Canada. I do agree it would be good to get what they get..........;at their price too.
  15. Well I've now driven it so I thought I'd post up some pics and thoughts. A few members here attended the advanced sneak peek for this late last year. The one I was really keen to have a crack on the track in was the LS600h F Sport. 327kw all wheel drive 5.0lt V8 plus hybrid drive. BIG BIG torque The F Sport detail is really nice, I especially liked the F Sport logo in the leather on the headrests. Chrome highlights on buttons are nice. Best of all was the roads we got to test the cars on. I can't say where, although some will know. Those that do know also know not to say. On top of the roads the cars we tested were a good selection. LEX51S you would have had a ball. The Audi A8 was disappointing. The new BMW 7 series hybrid showed they they are following the Lexus lead with Hybrid. It wasn't as good though. The S350 & S500 were like two totally different cars even just to sit in. S500 showed that it is the best part of $300k plus. The Porsche Panamera wasn't as plush or comfy but WOW when you stand on the loud pedal. As a complete package & for value for dollar the LS won the day. The latest Drive.com.au comparison of LS460 v BMW 7 shows that although I may be bias I am not wrong. http://news.drive.co...0215-2egok.html RichieISF seemed most impressed by the addition of a Blueray player to the one he looked at the other day. I can't repeat what he said. haha. The new LS is hitting the showrooms so check it out.
