  1. Let the guy enjoy his purchase. Congrats on your new car. What you have bought is an awesome car and is going to put a smile on your face for years to come.
  2. Tony casual is the go. We normally meet in a car park near Rhodes so no different. Same dress code: none :)
  3. Yes I was looking for it in the App Store not long ago. I'll make some calls tomorrow and find out about the IOS version. Do It got a sneak peek at enform when he was at SCL and there was a Lexus Australia car there with it running.
  4. FrankyX as they suggest speak to your dealer as he is doing training on Enform on Monday :) I'll give you a call after I've been through it if you like?
  5. Given that you are now a happy customer I think your original post is at the least highly unfair. You should have spoken to them first before posting up accusations and slandering their business. I would be editing it if I was you, for your own benefit and that of the forum......not sure of the course of action that could be taken if it is left up. Especially after you then post it was "a mix up" which can happen. Maybe next time you could do as tony1234 posted and give the benefit of the doubt.......before firing off. Or try getting BMW to give you the service Lexus of Chatswood have.
  6. Best advice......multi million dollar.....multi brand dealership don't get where they are by short changing someone for a few hundred dollars and risk the good reputation that they have. To think otherwise.....well it's not thinking is it.
  7. Well hopefully this will be the best turn out for an ALOC meet yet. It will be the best meet yet IS-F time attack race car on display. A white with red interior LF-A on display (brand new..undriven too ) And it will be the best venue yet.......the biggest Lexus dealership in the southern hemisphere Also attending will be a product specialist from Lexus Australia for a bit of Q & A. Not often you can get a chance to speak directly to the guys that know whats ahead for Lexus next year & the future. Lexus Nerd is back from Japan and will give us a run thru of Lexus in Japan. He attended the Tokyo Lexus Intersect concept store which looks amazing. http://www.lexus-int.com/intersect/tokyo/ All that plus food & drinks.
  8. People are already putting deposits down on the RC!!! There is more good news ahead too.
  9. Yes you are correct. Certainly busier with the new IS than any recent model launch. You would have to go back to the original RX launch to see this level of interest. The new IS has only been out a week and advertising hasn't started yet. Once advertising starts at the beginning of August things will certainly get busier. It is mainly existing Lexus owners getting in early at the moment.
  10. http://ninemsn.carsales.com.au/news/2013/lexus/spy-pics-lexus-is-f-coupe-and-gs-f-37677 Hey Franky-F (formerly X) when do you pick it up?
  11. Also check FrankyX's experience: http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/11976-3is-first-drive Yep read that. Probably best to keep it all in one thread though.
  12. Well after driving it in anger on the track all I can say is FrankyX you are in for a treat. Congrats on ordering a great car. The F-sport dash is the best I have sat behind. The IS300h was the surprise in the pack We had the hybrid v diesel with Merc C V IS300h IS350 v 328i on the skid pan I had about 3 hours driving on the road. The car drives and sounds great. The induction sound under acceleration is very nice. Plus running the 250/300h/350 around the best track in Australia to really show how the car really drives. Andrew the car should be in showrooms Monday. Definitely looks even better in the flesh
  13. Drive.com.au http://smh.drive.com.au/new-car-reviews/first-drive-review-lexus-is-20130710-2poyj.html IS300h will be popular.
  14. Cars in the showrooms Monday guys........who is going to have a look? Have been so busy lately and haven't posted for a while. As I mentioned many months ago and much earlier in this thread the car needs to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated. Start price for the range Luxury IS250 @ $55,900 is awesome given the spec...it is equivelent to the prestige with EMV that was $58,492. I'm off to drive it at Phillip Island so will report back after that. Chris & Lance....you strangers....give me a call...got an invite for you both. :)
  15. Yes & no. Haven't been out of the country this year. Yes my comment is local. Seen it, touched it but yet to drive it. Can't wait for my first drive. 350 F in Mercury with red trim. WOW & 300h SL in Titanium(new colour). The model line up is different to current model with more choice. Standard equipment is impressive. Give me a call during the week if you've got any questions or come see me. I've got some stuff to show you that you'll like.
  16. New IS is better IRL
