Oh and the new tech is great and for some customers is going to take a bit of learning. Auto high beam, blind spot monitor. The big screen/split screen in the upper models is great. There is a lot more to run through & will be good as an indicator of what to expect in the new IS.

Well when I drove it in December last year they also gave us 2 BMW 5 series, a new Benz E-class, an Audi A6 & A7. The GS350 F-Sport was the best car there. The BMW 535d was a close second. Surprisingly the E-class was the worst. The 520 was horrible. The BMW 520 was completly different to the 535. The Audi A6 was nice but not as good as the GS & 535d. The GS450h I drove was a Sports Luxury but being a pre-production car didn't have the Lexus Dynamic Handling (LDH) system with Dynamic Rear Steering. The GS350 F-sport did and there is a big improvement. For those familiar with the current GS the boot size in the new one will be a big improvement. The boot in the hybrid especially. What impressed me the most was the GS250. Maybe my expectations weren't as high as the GS350/450h but it must be geared different to an IS250 because it's performance was better than expected. Sure it's no GS-F but it's not meant to be. For the price it is awesome value. Now the launch will be at the end of the month. I will bring one to the next meet if you guys like??? for you all to have a fiddle with. If anyone wants to come to the launch or better have a drive once they are here...let me know.

RX is facelift but also a realignment of models. Prestige/Sport/Sports Luxury is gone. It will be Luxury/F-Sport/Sports Luxury. It was the RX F-Sport that I was shown on Monday night & it looked great. Neither is the answer to your IS question. I'll PM you. Thanks LN for the welcome back. Yes you were right about the Estate. That's correct StephenM, it is an issue with some Sat Nav DVD discs. It's not a problem with the car but the actual disc itself. Replacing the disc is the apparent fix.

Hi guys, I haven't been on here in a few weeks as LEX51S pointed out in an email but I'm back at work from holidays & many days at the track on my bike. Doesn't look like I have missed too much here. Any news???? Cruises? Anyone got a new car? Who's done what mods? Whats new from me: I had a look at the new RX on Monday night, looks really good & a definite improvement. New GS pricing will impress when released soon. GS hits the showroom in a few weeks so I'll bring one to the next meet. Probably of most interest to those here, new IS maybe a bit closer than we thought. I haven't seen it but have spoken to some that have. I'm getting excited about it. Holy thread revival Batman!!!!

OK I'm looking at this for the first time on my home computer running Firefox and it looks much better than at work running IE. It's definitely not displaying correctly on IE for me. Looks great when displaying correctly.

There is a massive gap at the top of the screen. There is all the forum sections listed on the left but the right hand 75% of the screen is blank. You have to scroll down a full screen to get to the forum topics. I think the colours need to be a little less black. Have a great Christmas Chris.

Most E10's are 95-ish RON. The car is designed to run on E10.

Really??? When? The 4% on Toyotas means no discount. The money you would've got as a discount is given up front to the finance company to make up the gap to "market" rates. It is different form of discount. You normally get one or the other....rarely both.

Well the new GS is awesome. I got to drive it along with the latest E class Benz, two current model 5 series BMWs & the latest Audi A6. there was also an A7 there. I will write up a bit more when I get a chance.

Yep xelfer its pretty annoying. Try using the "Tune/File" dial that is located just above your heated seat controls. This is a faster way of scrolling through lists. If you keep the list srolling it won't start playing until you stop scrolling. See if you find that a bit better.
