Yep-Gsensor truely zero'd on the flat-placement in vehicle is critical to getting an accurate reading on horsepower and body roll.

I'm quite pleased with the trip home from work.... myself(105kgs) 2 bags of records AND a large sub box, and I'm still pulling 7.11 seconds 0-100,pretty good for an auto! Reckon if I lose some of the weight(sub box etc-not me!) I'll crack into high 6's. the guys at ST high-tech have calibrated my RSM correctly now,so I know it's pretty accurate. Now-to go faster.....

If there was ONE modification you could do to your ride,and didn't have to shell out a single cent for it-what would it be? Let's keep it a tad realistic-and keep it to mods we know can ACTUALLY BE DONE!! I'm itching for a Supercharger!

I Sourced mine from Rapid Radio in Newton(James 303-1838 ext 1),it is a genuine Lexus/Toyota part so is a touch pricey but fits better than any of the aftermarket ones I've come across. I was lucky enough yesterday to be involved with the Alpine NZ dealer meeting to showcase the new product due to be released,and got to tinker with the Alpine demo cars. These things are wicked! Don't know full product stats,but there is a 2003 VVTI Corolla packing 4x12" subwoofers,mp3 changer,etc-and has more bass than you can shake a stick at,yet,flick a switch-and it becomes a top quality competition system. The Mack-Daddy tho,has to be the latest addition to the Alpine NZ family,a fully re-vamped 1997 BMW(yes,I know) 740i with full AV system-3 monitors,time alignment,2x 10" woofers,5.1 digital for dvd,3 HUUUGE amplifiers,Caps, and is awesome looking with full re-spray and the latest genuine BMW 19" rims.... Got a few pics if anyone want to take a look-see,post your interest and I'll fire them up to the gallery. I didn't get around to asking what these cars were now worth(ouch ) Must be time for a NZ LOC sponsored sound car!(gav's brain starts ticking) Gav.

It may pay to have someone with a stopwatch also-I've found(and have been told also)that the G force sensors used for these meters are a just a touch inaccurate when used on the Autos-hence the reason I haven't posted my times/power rating as of yet-apparently the way the auto provides power can fool the G sensor into a false reading???? The lads at STI High tech can elaborate further. Imagine my suprise when I showed a 7.43 with 2 people,sub enclosure,etc.... Poppin down to ST high tech to see if it can be sorted-don't wanna be TOO embarrassed!!! B)

thinkin about it.... may have to convert the 'tezza to LPG so I've got enough $ left for a christmas toast after i get there tho!!
