  1. I agree with ilv1004s. 30 profile will be better on large width tyres. I made the mistake of getting 40 profiles of my FD RX-7 on a 285 once. On a 265 the sidewall height will be: 30 profile = 79.50 mm 35 profile = 92.75 mm 40 profile = 159 mm
  2. I'll definately be in :D I haven't been on a meet / cruise for ages !
  3. Whats the deal with certifications etc over here for that conversion?
  4. My car will be up for sale soon....... 08' IS250 with EMV 84,000 km BC Coilovers 19x9.5 , 19x11 (standard wheels also availible) Black on Black Sunroof LED Headlights LED foglamps Full Lexus service history
  5. ^^^^ as above for a safe fit. I run: 19 x 9.5 +22 19 x 11 + 25 If you can get custom offsets the you can calculate the perfect fit you want.
  6. Running 19" wheels is fine but the width and offset is what will make them scrape. 19X9.5 with the corrected offset will work. You can run up to a 19x11 in the rear with some work on the rear guards but they will still scrape if you wanna be 'stancemaster' Feel free to post what your looking at getting. I'll be happy to do the calculations to get the right offset and look your after for you.
  7. I run Bendex Ultimates no squeal and minimal dust with Slotted / dimpled aftermarket brake discs
  8. RotorRian. Do you still have a deal on this dash cam? Hi Chris, Yes, I can still do you a deal on the CR500HD Drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do on the pricing for you. You want just the CR500? Or you need any accessories as well?
  9. Thats so weird. I definately have H11 headlamps and foglights as my 08 IS250 is currently running H11 LEDS. So there must be 2 different foglamp types.... ?
  10. The parkers you should be able to tackle without removing anything apart from the top covers...... However this is assuming that all IS250 are created equal. On another note, which fog lamps do you have so we can confirm which are HB4 and which ones are H11.
  11. Maybe 'Murican' version. I wouldn't trust anything from an American site as they run their own standard of globes. eg. 9006, 9005 etc. 99% sure they are H11 all euro/aus/nz/jdm are 'H' globes not '900x'
  12. Yeah the difference is Halogen uses heat to generate light. Vs HID which is a plasma created by igniting metal halide salts at 40,000V similar to the light generated by an arc wielder. Hmmmmm I have 2008 IS which are H11 I also checked on the OSRAM Globe selector on our site: http://www.hidreplacements.com.au/oem-globe-selector/ Says H11 as well for the 2010 model providing im looking at the right model.
  13. I feel your pain. I dropped a socket and extension down by the airbox / headlight and had to remove the blot with needle nose plyers. Only took an hour to remove the bolt 1mm at a time :P Good news though the LED Foggies are easy to replace compared to the headlight globes. Just undo the inner guards and put in the LED H11 globes in. Mine took about 10 mins per side. If your local to Rhodes Bring your car over and we could change them.
  14. Ciggi lighter or interior lights on the roof from memory. I think there is a grounding screw by the transmission selector........ Its been a while so I can't remember 100%
  15. Damn I missed this post I would have hooked you up with a genuine APP HID Conversion kit or LED Conversion Kit. We also now provide a APP replacement globe so if anyones cheap HID globes crap out we can supply you a replacement for your cheap kits.
  16. Pretty sure I still do. I have two or three sets left for IS which are H11 (both low beam & foggies) Cool let me know as I would be keen to see a side by side comparison with the OEM HID's in your ISF. I have a Lux meter as well so I can actually do some measurements well looks like ill be needing some u stil got my number right? ill tell you what bulbs i need
  17. Even better they fit perfectly in the IS250. Was actually a non-event. You just plug them in to the loom. Put the bulbs in the lights, tuck in the fan switch and close the hatch. Done.
  18. Is anyone based around Rhodes with OEM HID Lamps ? I would like to measure someones OEM HID headlights vs. HILED headlights.
  19. Allianz were involved in this.......... http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/12709-2008-is-f-for-sale-grab-a-bargain/
  20. you sure you don't want a FineVu CR500. I have a brand new one in Sydney I'd be happy to do a mean deal on. I can supply the hardwire kit too.
