  1. Sad but true......... However thats not your problem and you shouldn't be disavantaged over a police operation so they need to relay that to your insurance company so you get paid out. If the police want to hold the car as part of the operation, fine. But you need to be paid out for your insurance so you can move on from this drama and have a car again. Update us on insurance ISFBloke. Wishing you the best mate on a favourable outcome!
  2. ISF bloke can you PM me your email. I have some legal/police info for you.
  3. Hey ISFBloke, My father in law is a laywer sadly he is away till next week but I'll see if I can get some answers for you. Sadly this is more a police issue, than a legal one, however if we can assert enough pressure maybe we can get some action on your car. Worst thing is, its not a bloody corolla or silvia were talking about its a bloody ISF!
  4. I run Kumho ECSTA SPT KU31 on the Lexus seem very solid no issues with wear or wet weather driving. I run 265's on a 19x11 However the most impresive tire brand I found as a test driver was the Federal 595RSR, RS and SS.
  5. Definately complain and document everything. I would contact them ask what happening explain that your extremely disspointed by the lack of ownership and action provided by the police tell them you are writing a email to the minister of police and also sending this to every media outlet. Follow that conversation up with an email explaining the the undue hardship the police are putting you through and CC minister for police and email media outlets. Use words such as victimised by the police. You will be amazed how things move then you start throwing constable jones under the bus in front of national TV and the minister of police. Or........... Just tell them you saw your car driving around yesterday with ISIS stickers on the side of it. The Federalies don't muck around !
  6. Yeah I always find them pretty good. Speed and communication is always good. I always get nice cars to drive (maybe thats luck?) Price..... well I come from background of building and maintaining racecars so I used to just service my own car at the same time as my racecar. This is the first time I have paid for servicing in my life. My 75k is probably gonna end up around $800-1000 with the fuel filter and throttle bodies all carboned up. No labour charges when you do it yourself. But hey if you drive a Lexus you need to pay for the service. Beats the $15k service from Lamborghini and a 7 series to drive.
  7. Dropped my car in for its 75k service. And they gave me a brand new white IS250 FSport to hoon around in for the day. NICE ! Now I want one. Only 8,000k I think left on mine till upgrade time!
  8. Man I feel for you ! I hate theiving scum. Cut off their bloody hands!

  10. Destroyed to pass compliance ! Damn thats like burning $1,500 We can get you the OEM ones new sadly they are around $1,500. I'd recommend starting with some wreckers see if you can find a cheap pair.
  11. Sadly with druggies your car becomes a pawn in the polices game. Coppers want a conviction for drugs. They don't care about the fact you have no car, no insurance, no nothing........ Maybe try and tell them that you also know where the car is and if they dont do anything your going to go get it back. They tend to react quickly when you start taking the law into your own hands.
  12. C'mon Danny you can get them in there :P
  13. Without knowing the electrical system of the Lexus..... You could just change the trigger from the central locking to the lights on the mirrors which would in theory provide the same result..
  14. I have an APP kit (http://www.app-top.jp/) which I was haven't got around to re-putting in my own car since I sold my last one out of my car. They are $350 but unlike the chinese copies actually contains silica sands and tungsten so will last 5-10 years. I can also bring in some more if anyone wants them. Kind regards, Rian. Feel free to give me a call on 0450198075
  15. As mentioned before.... It depends on how crazy do you want to go. Also how much you can be bothered with your setup and the roads you drive on. For example I run 19X9.5 and 19x11 with BC Coilovers. Looks cool however the reality is...... They scrape even with pumped guards. They kill your inner guards Potholes ruin your guards if you run it slammed and hit some roadworks. No Fatties in the back. You have to muck around with pre-load, height and spring rates to get the mix of ride, comfort, bound and rebound right. You can only fine tune with the dampers. Angry gf due to mucking around with car. extra angry gf for buying another set of stupid dished wheels. Police no longer your friend.
  16. From memory Bendex Ultimates (heavy street / track spec pad) end in ULT. Other is the standardish ones. I run Ultimates with dimpled / slotted rotors. With minimal dust compared to the OEM Dust monsters
