  1. hopefully all good now ;) atleast thats good service.
  2. honestly so far it has exceeded my expectations.. (again non varex) as mentioned I had a ISS DES which I believe was around $2.5k USD originally - too loud / too boomy / droned had a HKS SSM axle which around the same $2.5-2.7k USD - too quiet. so.. not always the case, personal preference ofcourse. PTS system would be the go tho i think for a proper dual mode exhaust. very dissapointing that your having issues with the varex - that was one of my concerns and im glad I didnt go with this option.
  3. I think the message here is get the non varex ;) (but yes I do know your situation re 5am startups) honestly couldnt be happier with mine it sounded epic on the track day! thats what I was concerned about re varex - keep it simple and you avoid this kind of crap and hassles!!
  4. Danny you need this in your life - check this one.. damn it sounds nasty!! Hayward & Scott Exhaust (UK)
  5. acquire the new maps (ebay/website/lexus) etc 2x pin holes on the plastic transparent unit that has the clock - the pins are in your boot tool kit (info in the manual) pop plastic screen out / eject nav dvd via menu / put new dvd in - done.
  6. id be talking to Rafi @ RR Racing they are really the only guys with proven numbers etc. they are about to release an OBD flasher also.. interesting! not sure if its compatible with our ECU's though. ---------------- Here is a pic of our handheld OBD flasher. Features: It will come pre-loaded with the maps, you do not need a laptop. In the future, if we provide an update we can that out by email and you can download that into the device with a PC. OBD flash device only works on one car. No need to send in your ISF ECU. Price is $795. We will have ordering info on our site later tonight. 7. XF is ultra budget lol - nothing really in the same price range but considering they are $3.5+? from chatswood thats a pretty good deal.
  8. cheap JOE Z in WA 2.7k which im sure you can negotiate. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lexus-ISF-2008-Joez-PTS-Exhaust-/111923655038?hash=item1a0f2b717e:g:QTEAAOSwxp9W1zNv
  9. ok next time im getting this app / setup!! so want to give this track another go!
  10. damn what an event.. seriously, this is the reason I own a Lexus! great cars/owners and events! absolutely loved it and just had fun cannot wait for the next one im actually hoping its at the same track as I would like to give it another shot next time il get some motul brake fluid I think haha ;) OH and definetely a mount for my phone and the app Alex was using - so good! I have some pics but we might aswell wait for the pro photos from lexus!
  11. nice one ;) always good to be back in a lex.. especially when its an F!
  12. was this the same recall as last year? previous owner performed mine if so.
  13. the ISF intake wouldnt fit on the IS250. just get the F Sport intake and your good! (if you meant the F sport intake, yes it will fit - there is no LHD/RHD intake's they are all the same)
  14. for me its the first time taking my own car on a track so I will just take it easy and enjoy the experience, not fussed re lap times etc! dont forget its a tax deductable donation so its win win as supporting a good cause also! :)
  15. Flyby vids :D
  16. Damn that looks good John! want to drive down together? I just had 265/35 Conti 5's fitted to the rear so im good to go ;)
  17. nice impressions glad your enjoying it and yep best of both worlds! I was going to add the varex mufflers if the non varex annoyed me but so far so good! post some vids when you can :)
  18. yeah but the C63 is a 6.2 ;P Love the fact that the ISF is the 'unknown' brother in the group.
  19. this would be nice and loud ;) $1200 + ship http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&ie=UTF8&sl=ja&tl=en&u=http://www.importmonster.com.au/dt%3Furl%3Dhttp://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k209619173 +
  20. BLK ISF I was told the same thing by the guy who helped design the system (re 350) I believe they just flip the rear section and change the mufflers to suit the F! Personally im very happy with the non-varex system but think the varex is a great idea for the best of both worlds scenario! especially as you mentioned re 5am - the cold start on non varex would piss off your postcode lol.. I was advised that america / europe etc get first dibs on the varex which is the reason for the backlog/delay on this system. An alternative would be talk to x force and ask when th varex comes in to just swap the mufflers. we need to make some flyby videos I think - MR2QIK you in? we know where this can be done right? ;)
  21. some quick driving footage for those asking re drone. dyno pull from clublexus " local shop had a grand opening so i went to support the homie... did 2 pulls.stock other that afe filter with hps arm, and x force full catback. put down 360hp with 334 torque. runs are in 4th gear."
