Thanks Juvi I'm moving from a Prado so the improved fuel economy will be a bonus, not to mention the quality of the Lexus product. They are definitely a great looking SUV...

On my visit to Sydney city Lexus last week I was told that the NX will be getting a tech upgrade, hopefully that will deal with some of the issues you guys have raised. I really loved the NX and so did the Boss, that's why she's getting one

$160 per rim..fully painted the whole rim...perfect. Others wanted $225 and $250....

2007 Model 140000ks.....High Ks ..Slightly above average for this Model. Low Ks would be around 70000.

These cars will always have a great resale value, of course the longer you wait the cheaper they will get, That's called depreciation..lol Best to wait and get something with low Ks, you may pay a little extra but as we all know the lower the Ks the more interest there is. Not everyone likes the shape/grille of the new IS, there are still people who want a 2IS and for almost half the price of the 3IS for a 2011/12 model they are very desirable, and if your not stuck on one particular colour there are some good deals to be had out there.

I'd be very interested to know the final $$$ invested,including the wreck and any third party labor once the project is complete. Not so worried about your own labor as i believe it's a labor of Love...lol

Looking Good Looks like you have put some $$$ into this project. I'm just trying to get my head around the reasons for the conversion, it must be the challange. Or was the wreck a very cheap buy... My point being and pardon my ignorance would it have been cheaper to buy an IS350 and go from there. As a person who has done conversions before I appreciate the challenge and satisfaction gained from this sort of project. Just curious on the reasons.

I agree, but I'm not doing any long trips and I do like to give it now and then. The fact that the engine has only done 6500 ks may have a little to do with it as well, I may be wrong but I think my fuel consumption will improve a little after 10,000 ks,, If not i'll question it at my next service. Can you please tell me how to quote the last post on your reply page, I hit the quote button but nothing happens. Cheers..

My tank average is around 430km IS350 F Sport... The computer shows 12.5 Ltrs/100 Ks 17ltrs/100 tank average....65 litre fuel tank I would say the real average would be around 15 Ltrs/100 Ks.
