Had an approx 200k trip today from Ringwood to Sorrento and back (Inc a stop for a few hours at Peninsula Springs for a soak :) ) Saw the best fuel figure Ive had so far. After a couple of days of small local trips I was suprised to see the Tank average drop from 12.8 to 8.8. Then it kept going right down to 7.7l 100/k after about 70 k's on. It was freeway driving but Ive never had a run this low before.. pleased aye

I'm finding it hard to get a clear wipe on my screen. IS350 F Sport 2011. I've changed blade assemblies, scrubbed screen with diff chemicals etc, added bars bugs etc etc. It looks like there is a coating over the whole screen that doesn't want to be removed. I read that some Lexus models used to have an coating from the factory that wasn't removable but became an issue as it wears? I also get poor vision if the sun is directly thru the screen, early in the day. Makes it look like its sand blasted but its not! Any clues?

For all rubber seals and other rubbing parts use Dupont Krytox lubricant. When I had my SLK the rubbers made a lot of noise when the body flexed. All were fixed with that "recommended" lube. Also worked on my Audi. Will be trying on my IS350 F Sport driver door seals soon too. Ex: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dupont-Krytox-240-Ab-Grease-/222387363385?hash=item33c751de39:g:7cUAAOSwT5tWG2ix

DAB is known for issues like this generally. I doubt it can be fixed other than having extra aerials in the car to get the strongest signal direction. It should be ok on some channels when you stop. There was talk some time back of having extra repeaters in city areas like phone repeaters to make it work but someone has to pay for them...
