I purchased plugs for my IS350 from this seller http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/253162440040 He has a large range of most types. I believe they are old Toyota stock.

Good result. Where was the noise travelling in the car? From behind or along the metal fuel line to the front?

What does the noise sound like/ compare to? Where does it seem to come from when sitting in the car?

Ensure you dont have too much toe out. 0-2mm in, may help with standard bushes.

Who thinks i can save my rear tyre? Easy. Superglue sticks rubber real well . Rim can be buffed back smooth and clean and resealed with wheel paint. Problem with low profile tyres is when they loose 1/2 their air, it isn't always noticeable with a walk around look. What then happens is they run superhot in the sidewalls due to flex (wall friction) and they fail.

I guess I didnt ask the right question Is it the credit card type? If not and its the same fob as the Aussie one what is different?

After seeing the Nulon Oil treatment thread here I thought id give the injector cleaner with octane booster ago over the weekend. http://www.nulon.com.au/products/fuel_treatments/octane_boost_and_clean No idea if it cleans yet but it certainly made mine have a bit more grunt. Feels a bit smoother and the wheelspin into 2nd gear this morning was an added bonus Never seen the traction control light flash as much Prob short lived at $29 a bottle but the timing in mine must of been set advanced enough from continuous freeway driving to cause pinging so was backing off.

OT Mines the same colour :) Wasn't sure when I got it being an "Red" car BUT in the flesh its great and I also get similar comments, esp when the sun brings out he gold mist in it.

I didnt find the cause. Still get the odd whiff when stopping after a run. Ran around and sniffed everything, no joy. Guessing it "may" be from an exh flange but need to get onto a hoist.
