LEX51S Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 guys I think the daytime driving lights on the audi's look pretty stylish. so i got a set off ebay fir my IS. but they are only short and i cant decide where to put them. im thinking on the very bottom of the kit. what you guys think pls.
Art_76 Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 i woudlnt do it I agree. I wouldn't do it, and if I had the desire to do it I would invest in these: http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=1995
Bartek Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 @LEX51S That is a big no-no if you ask me. It looks cheap, just like the price. Audi DRLs are factory ones and simply look good but this modification... don't get me wrong but it would look like you're trying too hard :) i woudlnt do it I agree. Oliver Twizt Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 A perfect mod is tasteful, looks either OEM or like it was designed specifically for the vehicle, and doesn't smell of rice. That LED strip, is none of the above...
LEX51S Posted December 25, 2009 Author Posted December 25, 2009 HAHA thanks guys i really wasnt sure. good to know what you guys think. anyone wanna buy a set of DRL haha

illusivedreams Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Agree. The price is extortion as well.

I bought myself a set of generic foglight HIDs for $99 recently. This is probably one of those things which don't matter whether they are genuine or not... P.S. Agreed, lose the drl's...

This is probably one of those things which don't matter whether they are genuine or not... Yeah 2 grand... I wouldn't spend that much on it, I guess it was just showed as an example, not as the exact purchase. Also - I would prefer this with a normal fogs, not HID fogs.
DANSLEX Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I still haven't fitted them... was an impulse buy coz cheap. It does look odd though, having HID headlights and non-HID foglights...
ilv1004s Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 lol yeah HID wont cut through the fog :D all for bling
DANSLEX Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I've been in WA for 16 years and I'm yet to see fog here haha. Of course they are for bling, they're not needed haha.
