  1. 1. they dont have to be ceramic all round but it is recomended (just change them as the way you go) 2. Yes disc machining is generally a good idea when your changing pads regardless though with the ceramic pads you would want to upgrade the rotors to something stronger than OEM as ceramic can eat through the rotors pretty quickly when pushed 3. Yes Ebay readstuff is cheap and they are genuine, they are cheap because they dont not have store upfront cost and stock holding fees 4. A lexus mechanic is still a lexus mechanic if they can do a brake change on a normal car then they can do it on a lexus
  2. if memory serves me right the X uses the Sports suspension out of the 2005-2009 on the serise 1 IS250' after seeing a number of X in our club and comparing them to stock height X vs Sports vs Sports lux vs Presteige the X and the Sports were virtually same height not noticeable unless you put them next to each other (X vs Presteige) and no im not talking about the X's in the later serise 3 this test was done way back when the X's first came out
  3. bendix is okay for pretty much any car but not performance orientated but its a good idea to have a matchin set of Front and rear brakes

  12. this has been done on a members car before it was hooked up to the 100% drl wire and the puddle lights
  13. that seems pretty normal the IS doesnt use conventional power steering its electronicly assisted which means there is no fluids or belts hence it doesnt have that unwinding effect
  14. well you can just use subaru upper engine cleaner (buy it from a subaru dealer or ebay) first thing ill do is that and then move on to the injectors injector cleaning cost alot and generally dont foul up that easily on a late model car
  15. try using upper engine cleaner being a direct inejction car you will have alot of carbon build up
