Anyway, Intro in point form, -Obviously, F1 fanatic. -Went down to Melbourne last year -Will more then likely do the same this year -Singapore on my calendar later this year -And Monaco a must, when............, soon! -Re-fueling ban needs to go! -Atleast an extra pit stop for now -Mclaren rear wing...............genius! -Hamilton, huge fan -Return of the silver arrows, exciting! -Red bull, looking good! I WILL NOT MISS any of the REMAINING 18 races! Oh yeh, the new teams need to get their act together!! Steve, surely with you living in the UK you would follow the Mclaren's!!!!!

Hi mate, Welcome!! Just to add to Franky' post - Springs - All depends on what look you are after. (Aggressive or just that sporty drop) I bought the Eibach's as - 1) Not too aggressive but lower than the F-sports 2) A better ride quality then the Teins but just not as low. (Teins springs are great but a little firm)! They are probably the most popular until you look into coilovers. H&R have a really good spring too if you are after an even greater drop! You can get the Teins in Oz through one of the distributors like Fulcrum. They are in QLD from memory as well. About the $600 mark. Intake - I have the F-Sport. You achieve a deep throatie sound with the F-Sport. Personally, I don't think you can match it!!! (Absolutely awesome) The takeda is popular as well but I will let one of the boys that have it installed like Danny or Chris comment on that one! Exhaust - Im not a great fan. Nothing worse then having that exhaust drone when you are driving a luxury vehicle. With the intake, yeh different sound but atleast its only there when you put the foot down! Lets face it, you ain't after a power gain otherwise you would still have the turbo!! The F-Sport stuff like Franky mentioned you generally get from OS. (Sewells is the place)! You will find the F-Sport sway bar there too! As for non oem sways, Cevu here is the best to ask as he has found one in particular to be pretty crap!! Again, fulcrum suspension for local stuff!! HIDS - I bought mine from a member here who actually bought them from Arco Imports as well. Like Paul, I have had absolutely no problems with them. Easy to install! Roof racks - Sorry, can't help....................Im sure one of the members here will help with that one!!! I hope this helps. You will find a suspension topic I started a long time ago if you dig through the posts.......... You will find the most common there!! Enjoy!!!

Ok, long story short....................No windscreen insurance cover!!! Again, long story and I shall not go into it because ......not happy. Prices gathered - Non oem glass with no antenna - $340 Non oem glass with non oem antenna- $490 Genuine Lexus glass with oem antenna - $890 I guess not too bad considering, but it upsets me that I pay so damn much for my premium (two cars insured and never claimed once in the last 15years I have been with em), yet I still have to fork out almost a grand for the glass. Yeh some might say "get the non oem", but what if the radio reception is s##t, rather get the proper 1 now!!! Unless I get the good old coat hanger out! anyone got connections with genuine spares to get the glass cheaper?? That is fitted so im not sure how much just the glass would be!!!

Hey Franky, You haven't missed anything,.................the 08' have the newer firmware as well. You can't do the temporary unlock through the UI as just mentioned!

Damn Dan!! You could of told me when we spoke earlier! I would of come around to check out the workmanship brother. Ha! They are so much better. Whats doing fellas?? The rivalry is hilarious!! Im with Justin on this one Dan........................I too know someone that can do springs in 45minutes....!! I wonder if he's available to install mine....Hmm. Might give him a call! But he does take a while installing intakes though! Did you re-connect the sensor?? You could have no filter connected at all and it shouldn't stall! Worse comes to worse, do a reset! (But unnecessary I would think)!!! Double check the sensor or anything else that you may have knocked!!! Let us know how you go!!!

As for this, I would have to agree with Danny..................I would say, especially knowing about Chatswoods little initiatives, that this would be an aftermarket solution. Not a bad thing as long as it were covered by the Lexus new car warranty. I just had my car in on Monday replacing the Sub...............could you imagine how much they would charge me if it weren't covered.! Definately a good option for those that don't have the EMV pack. I would consider the rear setup as long as it were covered under my existing new car warranty! Hey Q, we both missed the last meet............we need to make sure that we make the next one hey!!!

Bartek, I have hidden the original poll for now. I agree with Chris in that he should be given the opportunity to put forward his best designs, as well as your self! If Atlantis is going to put some ideas forward, he should be able to choose his aswell.(Your best work fellas.... 3 designs each). Who knows, I might represent with the last design or another member might come out of the woodwork. Guys, there are no rules when it comes to posting poles.............just remember what you are trying to acheive before you start one! I think the above solution for an accurate poll is the best. Shall we set a date for the design submission deadline?? Although I really like some of the work by you two, I am really keen to see what Atlantis can come up with...............Especially because he knows how to design to get the most out of his equipment!! Hi mate, Just don't do it!!!. As the other guys mentioned, just save up for a well designed intake. I have the F-Sport, and I assure you that you wont match the throatie sound by hacking at the top cover with a hole saw. You will introduce dust into areas where you don't want though. Keep an eye out on either this forum, or ebay. They aren't that bad price wise.

Hey Chris, Nah, Niick hasn't been active since March last year. I will email him (if it hasn't changed) & see if he is willing to still help out!! That is if he still has his IS?? Lets see if I can get a hold of him!! If not, Im sure you guys can reproduce it!!!
