Hey, ldc, if you look back, the only other IS250 meet pics on this forum are from the last Sydney one that Danny organised!! But, the turn out was not as good as this.........brilliant! Would of been better if I were there though!! HA! Cevu, you have definately been busy in between meets!!! I have so many damn questions...............I might have to start a topic called "ASK CEVU"!! The HID fogs look awesome! 6000K's?? Did you get the crossed drilled rotors local? And I must say again, the GFX kit looks awesome!! I wish I could of gone. Hey Naz! Im with Franky on this one. Take it in and get the bumper resprayed. It won't take them long to do and the finish will be flawless! How deep is it? Just think that you will always know and thus you will look for that imperfection everytime! If you decide to take it in, their is an official Lexus repairer in Artarmon. All the Lexus dealers send the cars there. (NSRC) or you could buy the GFX kit and hopefully it would cover the scratch!!! (My 5c's)

Hey guys, My car is a magnet for stones. Today i was driving along the M4 when a stone that seemed to be about the size of a golf ball come flying down from the bridge overhead! My windscreen is cracked starting from the pillar and probably 3/4 of the way across. Not happy! :( Has anyone had theirs changed? If so where? Generic or Lexus?? Thank guys.

Hey all, I really want to leave this with all of you! The effort that you guys have put in thus far is an absolute credit to you both! Great designs!! Look, I think if you read back when this topic first started you will find that the majority of members prefered a some what simple design. Like tonage just mentioned, both elegant and sleek. I personally think simplicity is the key. I really don't want a white rectangle adhered to my window. My preference would just be the logo or better still the silhouette in a half tone with the website through it. And as a member mentioned back then, max 2 colours. (Silver and black B/G or Gold with black B/G) Chris, the outlines are pretty sweet if you ask me! I actually like the rear end where you can see the exhausts and what looks like wide rubber! Bartek, nice design work! Again fellas, great effort, that was my 5c worth, back to all of you! ;)

Meguiars have an awesome Forum if you need any type of "specialty" information. eg. How to take out swirl marks etc!! Hey guys, I really find this hard to believe. Why would Lexus corp try stopping an endorsement of their vehicle. We are not doing this for profit, and we are not defaming the Lexus name. All we are trying to do is have an indicator on our rides thus making us identifiable to fellow members and prospective members. I would be interested to read this article though. Mate, can you forward me the link so I can read about this action. Let me see what it says before we go any further on this fellas! Having a quick look, the US LOC are doing their stickers still, (See below link)..........and Club Lexus still have their stickers available. Atlantis, can you do the static sticker like the US LOC below. Easy to peel off and transparent. Just what we wanted. US LOC Stickers

Its all good man.............Im running on stockers again since I had that little accident with the gutter so you won't be alone!!! (And my springs aren't going on until the new wheels)!! Just a refresher pic of my ol' wheels!! :( It's just an awesome opp to meet and chat about mods etc!!! We can always block the wheels in the photoshoots!!!

The same thing has gone through my mind so you are not alone there!! Hey "FRANK" ,you reckon it would be suss if we have a small head on with our rides?!?!? At least we can limit the damage to each of our cars so that we just get the re-spray!! HAHa! Its just so crap cause I absolutely love the car and then I look at the bonnet and I get angry! Not happy hey! I wish I knew or even thought about these products when I first bought the car! There is no use doing it now because i will just be protecting the existing (stone) chips! But definately for all those out there that are awaiting delivery of their NEW ride, definately do get some sort of clear protector!!! I will post up a pic soon! Danny knows how bad my bonnet is. Hey guys! Im throwing it out there.................... Who here has excessive stone chips? Who feels that something just ain't right?? What do you know about the paint?? What do you know about repairing them?? Do you know anywhere that can do it with some new techniques?? (Im not talking the old tooth pick and razor blade method)!! The reason I ask, as some of you are aware, the front of my ride is covered in chips. (Stone). I even have the odd one along the side skirt.I have never had this problem before with my other cars and like all of you, I give careful consideration to where and what part of the road I drive! Tell me what you know............................do I just ignore it?..............do i get the paint tested??!! Help here fellas would be cool!!! And before anyone says "mate, we have covered the lead free, soft paint issue before", i just want to know if anyone has current info or situations that they can share!! (Not that anyone would cause........................well you wouldn't) Ha!! Maybe this can be a place for general discussion and pics! See some of my stone chips have come off almost like a flake. Surely this ain't right!!

Yeh, I know! I felt the same about their selection as well! But as mentioned, I kinda like the concave style of this wheel. (For this week anyway!!!) As for finding this website............................Quite simply, since I have owned my car I have been in " THE PURSUIT OF PERFECT.......WHEELS". What a nightmare. Im sure that im not the only one here that is a perfectionist and wants the right wheel for their look! I think I have been to pretty much every wheel website that there is!!! I will get there! Throw any picture up of a wheel and I reckon I could name the manufacturer , type, or anything about it for that matter...............how sad!!! :(

It would be awesome if others wheel makers utilised a "decent" simulator such as this..... Have a play! TSW wheel configurator Here is a snapshot of one I did earlier...............Would you guys pass these wheels as an oem look for our rides. Picture Lexus cent caps on them! This is something along the lines of what i have just recently visioned for my Lex. As y'all know, I do want to maintain an OEM feel and look to the car. Being full faced, should look large enough in 18's I think!!!!

Both you and Danny hammer me any opportunity you get........................What can I say...............you guys definately do inspire even the slowest of modders like myself..........I will get there though..................Its the "riding on the stockers" again bit that is killing me. I can't seem to find wheels in Aus that I like!! Especially considering the fact that I have decided to stick with the 18's like my last set. Dan, like I said to you earlier on the phone, if you going to stick with the oem Sports wheels, plan your vision around that. That is, don't go skits with the skirts or anything that is taking the car into the VIP phase. Thats my opinion! On another "note", how does the Takeda intake sound?? I assume that being a pod filter and unboxed that it wouldn't be as deep as the F-sport........ Can't wait to hear it brother!!...................If Art76 and myself don't drown out the sound with our F-Sports lol!! HahA (Just an extra laugh for good measure Dan)!! that reminds me, Raoul has the F-Sport intake on his ride aswell. I will PM him about the meet!! The ride is looking good Dan.
