  1. Ok I really want to know the first question but these are important to,

    1. What oil do people use? (I have some brand I never heard of)

    2. How much does it cost to fill your car altezza or Lexus (please state which car)

    3. How many km to a tank of gas (city driving mainly or highway driving)

Some of these questions have been asked before but im to lasy to find them and we have more members now

    My responces:

    1. Omex petrol oil 15w/40 CFSH (whatever the heel that is) anyone know?

    2. no idea

    3. no idea

  2. Im appreciative of being sent those UK ones but put them on car today and they were s**t, I could even see them through the rear tinted glass or rear side windows. There was no point leaving them on, so another design is necessary.

As greeneyes has said some outside ones would be better,

I would prefer grey/silver, so maybe some different colours would be a good idea to!!

    my 2 cents worth!

  3. 4ROLLN's sitting on King srprings with a 30-35 mm drop I think, may have ended up with a 40mm drop somehow,

looks good, the ride is reasonable comfortable but the rear end is a bit dodgy on heavy cornering an driven hard. I've actually found it better to roll 4 up as going up the kaimai ranges over the holidays and going quick around corners was pretty wicked with four people, it handled awesome for some reason, but with 2 and without the weight in the rear it bounces around a bit which could be dangerous when hitting big bumps on passing lanes on a bend "trust me".

Overall for bang for buck they are pretty good, im happy with them, but may go for adjustables in the future if i ever get the money for some!!!!!!!!!

Dont get me wrong though they are pretty safe to drive with and corning aint to bad overall, I just mean if you are really pushing it, it can feel a bit dodgy, but in saying that it hasnt stop me yet from corning hard iwhen I feel like it!!!

  4. yeah thanks "ChronicSK" & "Driver", its a real heavy duty battery, the top one of that brand so yeah i think the alarm is just draining it, sorry i didnt mention this is when the alarm is not activated as well!!

I may look into that trickle charger or maybe just drive the car more often, I dont really know how its doing it but the GPS must always be running maybe, and there is one alarm light that always flashes when the car is turned off but its part of the extra duel immobiliser system.

Pain in the arse but I suss something out

    cheers.......Hayden B)

  5. Ok I've got a pager alarm and gps systm in my altezza which came out of my evo 4, anyways I've had a problem with the battery in the past and I bought a new one a few months ago and then recenlty it went completely deed so I took it back in for a new one anyways after not driivng the car for 2 weeks maybe a bit more I got a flat battery, anyways I think its the alarm sytem is draining the battery!!

So this shouldn't be happening should it, anyone else got GPS?

why would it be doing this?

I've just decided to remove the negative and disconect the battery when im not driving it from know on!!!

only seems to be a problem if not driving it daily or regularly, when i usally drive another car through the week so not daily driving the bad boy!!!

  6. yeah im runnin 215/40Z/R18's and reasonable low but not sacked out. I do notice rubbing on the front guards which is only when turning and usally when reversing.

Matt was telling me about camber kits so maybe one of these could help fix your problem but in general when you go low you hit these problems straight on!!!!!

I think the altezz's and lexus's wear the tyres out pretty quick on the inside my standard 17's had decent wear on the inside rears I noticed when I took them off for new mags

  7. Thats half the problem, I dont even know.

anyways a mate who works at toptown in hamilton knows a caryard who have an altezz that they want to get complied and the prospective buyer doesnt want the adjustables, so they are looking for standard shocks and springs plus $1000 for the change over.

however, my car is already lowered, not super low, but bloody good enough!

and I cant really afford them although if I want them i'll get them so might find out more tomorrow.

Also though I've been told they want to do it as soon as possible and im really way to busy to be mucking around with this a the moment and my car needs a new warrent before I could get them as my warrent runs out in three weeks and i dont want to pay for a cert yet.

so im kind of thinking flaging them anyways now but will find out more info first.

So if anyone else may be interested and I decide im not, let me know aswell. It does look like a good deal for adjustables though!!!!!!

  8. Ok basically, I may be able to get some tein adjustable suspension if I give them my full standard suspension and $1000. Basically its from a car yard wanting to swap for standard suspension!!!

so what do people know about this suspension, all I have been told at the mo is that its blue I think.

    although it requires certification.
