Drive it normally,don't rev it too high taking off from the lights,try to vary your speed on the freeways don't sit on the same speed for too long.But don't baby it .Think that's about it.

maybe i should try valvoline next time, what kinda oil does Lexus service use? does anyone know? Lexus uses Castrol 10W40. I would change engine oil + oil filter every 5,000 - 7,500 kms (I do 7,500 kms myself). Even Lexus states this under "Additional Service" or other manufacturers call it "Serve Conditions". Best Recommendation to all is to provide your own oil when servicing and to use Full Synthetic Engine Oil. eg. Motul, Mobil 1, etc I know my dealer charges $70 extra for full synthetic.I think its 5W40 They use it in the ISFs.Or just bring your own they should deduct the amount off your service bill and note it on your invoice.

Thanks for this info Chris.I too have noticed bass is lacking in otherwise not a bad sound system.I spoke to a car sound guy and he suggested a sub with 2 speakers and integrated amp installed under the drivers seat for $600 installed.Would there be any cheaper options available?

They look good.From past experience aftermarket stuff generally is not a 100% fit.At least the supplier is in Australia so if there are any issues you can get a refund.Also the quality and durability of the plastic may be questionable.Still worth a go i think.

Yes, use a 10W-30 for the reasons given above, and a full synthetic for the same reasons that are always given for using a full synthetic over a semi-mineral. The engine in the IS 350 has port injection as well as DI, so it doesn't face the same carbon buildup issues. I would use the oil grade recommended in the Owners Manual. Looks legal to me.You can go with F sport springs(approx.15mm drop i think) or go with Eibach/H&R springs and Bilstein/Koni setup(approx.30-35mm drop).I had this on an Accord Euro and it transformed the car handlingwise.Wasn't much firmer than stock when driving normally either.It was when you pushed the car you noticed the difference.It was like it was on rails round corners.

I've been told to always use 98 fuel as there are different/better detergents/cleaning agents in this fuel that is not in 95.It wouldnt hurt to run a decent injector cleaner every 12 mths or so.Subaru do a good upper cylinder cleaner.

I know.My service centre uses 10W40!!semi synthetic.I change my oil every 6 mths.There's NO WAY i'd leave ANY oil in my car for 12mths.or 15K

IMO not worth it.New cars take the biggest hit in depreciation in the first 1-2 years of ownership.Keep it for a total of 4 years to average out the depreciation.Not to mention you've already got the 3.5L motor already so not a huge stepup.
