  1. Yeah that’s pretty on the money mate, curve looks the goods 👍
  2. Back on topic, bluec63killa any results from your tune?
  3. You will find it won’t need too much touching up, half a dozen runs to an hour max.
  4. Imagine getting tunes touched up, ping pong tuning sending files and logs back and forth as well to the dyno. Yeah pass, My tuner has done some real time tuning here for overseas customers which I found pretty interesting, would be the only way to do it.

Hence why it’s going as close as possible, those rear mount turbo kits from the states sound laggy as in their vids. This is a street car that sees the highways and track pretty regularly 👍

They’ve had a few problems, 2 engine rebuilds to date from what I’ve read. Couple alignment issues with brackets as well causing belt chewing out. They have a 11.8:1 compression ratio so it’s not that great for boost. Anything lower would be a bonus There is sufficient space in the circle and will be getting mounted with a new brace using existing holes

It should be strong enough initially, I do see myself getting some arp head studs in as well as some thicker headgaskets to help compression. Previous results show fuel supply should be enough for low to mid 500whp.

Just a nice sized single 🙂 I went with the size after getting a lot of feedback from precision and a couple of shops that had dealt with single turbo v8s with ls1s etc. given its location and flow it should see 8 or so psi around 3500rpm. Which will provide quite usable power especially to get off the line.
  9. At around $150- $200 per 1 hp is the real question whether it’s worth it. After you factor in shipping and taxes it’s about there for an intake and tune... Locally tuned mine highest it’s made 395hp and rr’s with the bigger maf made 403hp once they got their temps sorted to get the reading they wanted lol You could easily get a custom intake made and it re tuned locally for around half of what he’s asking for it all.
  10. All good, doesn’t display the info I was looking for. Thanks anyway

Will see how much we can push safely starting off at 5psi and go up from there, it’ll be a low mid mounted underneath the car utilising it’s own oil system with scavenge pump, intercooler will be similar dimensions as rr’s fmic setup however will be using a pwr core. Tune should be fairly straight foward adjusting the map to accomodate boost. I estimate should see it in the ballpark of 500~550 hp at the wheels
  12. Not too far away from going into the fab shop now, couple little bits to go
  13. I’ve had the same tuner for close to 10years now, 3 vehicles later and never had any issues. His knowledge and experience is mind blowing, in saying that mine was the first isf for him to have a crack at. He was successful in a little over a week using a few different programs combined as he created majority of his own. 4-5 days on and off the dyno and hours of road testing as well as a few track mornings out a Queensland raceway and I haven’t looked back. My tune was about 1500 but he admitted he couldn’t charge for the actual time spent on the vehicle. Comes down to who u know I suppose. If you get a chance to study how these cars are you’ll learn on the dyno that power starts dropping off well under 7000 and the 7200 redline was made for guys that wanted that little bit more before gear change due to hitting limiter before the 1/4 finished. I was just curious as to why yous felt the need to check your tunes that’s all.
  14. Troubles? Why not take it to a reputable tuner here, check the afr’s and overall map rather than playing tune ping pong across the world?
  15. As far as I know it has been a discontinued item for a very long time, my mid section was about $900 as there wasn’t much to it.
  16. I tried that with a square set of works in 18x9.5s and advans. Expensive exercise but in the end the range for decent semis in 18s is endless and cheaper compared to 19s.

  18. I love bowdens products, their interior and leather love/guard works awesome on the leather. For the outside I use their snow foam first, use the car wash below bought in bulk majority of the time just use that thru the foamer gun and rinse. I wash it with a mit maybe once every 6 months, usually use bowdens lazy wax and fully slick after most washes. Gets polished using McGuires every 6 months or so, front end is pretty smashed with chips but rest comes up pretty mint.
  19. They don’t do tuning themselves, no dyno at their facility. A mate of mine use to manage the shop and most jobs are just generic files and they load them up.
  20. I spoke to bullet back in 2014 when I purchased my isf. They were very hesitant and couldn’t garuntee it would be successful, with a top mounted setup you’d loose direct port and only way around that is to convert it to sequential injection. Funny enough I already have a loom to support this plus a flex sensor using a haltech elite. My tuner is literally half an hour drive from bullets workshop.
  21. Think we spoke on the phone today
  22. I have a drivers side ppe for sale, open to offers. A good fabricator should be able to knock up a passenger side easy as. In Brisbane and can ship
