  1. well for me R888 s are the ultimate on the road although they are arguably best suited for the track and are excellent in the wet too, Michelin Pilot sport is a normal road tire and is possibly the best all rounder by what everyone says and my own experience too.
  2. It depends what sort of grip you are after and do you want to track the car or just road use? I have two setups track and road and found them to be ultimately good. Let me know and I'll shoot you the details and good prices too. If you have the electronic diff a good balanced tyre setup is especially important. It has transformed my car completely.
  3. I have for sale a set of four original coil overs for a 2008 ISF and a set of near new Figs Mega Arms that go well together with KW V3 setup. PM me if interested. Thanks
  4. nowhere near the M3 for sure especially given the fact that these machines take a hell of a lot of beating. I've had the biggest service done on mine which is the 90K for approx $1200 but I sourced the spark plugs myself. Search for ISF failures worldwide you will be hard pressed to find any major faults. That speaks for itself.
  5. I've got the Borla and am very happy with it. Not much drone and great deep V8 rumble.
  6. Looking for these parts for my 2008 ISF. The diff of course I am after is the torsen to upgrade.
  7. is the sway bar still for sale?
  8. well my OEM sounded like a road train after a track day to a point where it was embarrassing in traffic these are fine I can hear a tiny bit sometimes but with windows up dead quiet.
  9. PM = Personal Message. Just sent you one.
  10. Just tested my new brakes on the track and they worked just as well as OEM for the quarter of the price. PM me if you need details.
  11. Glad you enjoyed it Peter. Hope to see you again soon and have more fun. Also thanks to Chris I was able to make this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnwUmMmhHaI It wasn't intended for public viewing so fast forward to 2:30. Let me know if you want to see a brand new AMG Merc going off the track in a spectacular manner too.
  12. how to post photos

  13. what really worked for me is this setup 265R R888 and 245F Michelin Sport Cup this has eliminated nearly all understear as the cups have immense grip but wear quickly. The 888s have excellent traction even on full tilt from stand still and after 4 track days and approx 5K on the road they are still good. The cups only lasted 3 track days but they worth every penny.
  14. Well I had my new set fitted about 3 weeks ago and I could not be happier. Less dust better feel and just as good as OEM braking performance. Discs are slotted and drilled from Brakenetics and Stoptech pads. Pads delivered $170.00 for the four, front discs delivered $650.00 The discs look the part too.
  15. Got the KWs fitted and is really day and night compared to stock.
  16. Just noticed when it plays up the seat memory does not work either, it must be a software bug of some sort.
  17. My keyless entry is playing up again. 9 out of ten times is not working. When I approach the car it does not seem to detect the key (tried all of my keys) therefore when I touch the handle it does not unlock the car. I need to press the unlock button on the key fob but when I do that only the driver door opens (when it works OK when touching the handle all doors open). I cannot see why it's not working it has done this in the past once already and fixed itself however it does not seem to this time. Lexus techs said of course it did not play up when they checked it. Replaced battery in credit card key but made no difference. Not sure what to do. Would a reset fix the issue? If so how to do? Thanks.
  18. Yep I perfectly understand and as mentioned I don't I want to fork out 3 times the price for the KW as I don't need that kind of racing performance. Will avoid BC for known issues, so far I've only heard good things about Tein and the cabin adjustable settings are a big plus. So I think Tein is the way to go for me.
  19. Thanks I've seen this before and looks interesting. Tossing between BC and Tein the only reason I am reluctant to go with BC is the knocking issue.
  20. I am in the process of deciding my coilover upgrade and came across Tein's offering. Anyone had any experience with them? I am looking for improved comfort and a little better track performance on my 08 ISF. Not sure if want to spend big $ on KW. Thanks
