  1. Don't worry too much about km's, especially on cars like this. As long as there is service history and the car checks out alright, you're in the clear. I'd get the Sports Luxury for the added features and the cheaper price.
  2. I had mine done by Daalder Exhausts in Dandenong. I say go to them (or any other reputable exhaust shop) and tell them what kind of sound you're looking for, they'll be able to set you up with something close enough or exactly what you want for a fair price. Most shops should charge you around the same amount though, you're not really going to find a place that does it significantly cheaper than the other unless it's a shoddy job. I've heard good things about HiTech over in Sunshine, you should try give them a call and see what they can do.
  3. Not sure if you've already went through with what you planned to do but I thought I'd chime in. I've got custom rear mufflers on my 2011 IS350 along with a resonator delete and I'm quite happy with the sound. Whole thing only cost me around $500, but around $150 could've be saved if I didn't add a set of shadow chrome tips. Gave me the perfect sound I wanted without spending upwards of 1k for a branded system. There is only a VERY slight drone at freeway cruising speed. I'd recommend something like this if you want to save some money and still get a nice (or maybe even better) sound. Seems like you're already doing something similar with the magnaflow's though, if that isn't enough, then remove the resonator and it'll definitely open up some more.
  4. Thanks for that, I'll take your word for it then :-) Unless you have a better option without changing the rotors.
  5. Would you recommend to buy them as a replacement? I've looked into EBC Red Stuff and not sure which would be better regarding braking, dust minimization and value for money.
  6. Where can I get more information about this? Couldn't seem to find anything about "abz concepts" online. Very interested.
  7. Really upsets me that this hasn't sold yet haha, really seems like a niche market for these cars. Have you had many people inquire? Might just be more of a waiting game opposed to price drops, I'd happily pay your asking price if I had the money to spend. Like Spec said, just need to wait for the right person to see it.
  8. Doesn't look too complex, but I'll be careful. Also just to confirm, is Nulon 5w-30 fully synthetic a suitable oil for these engines? Thanks again.
  9. Just an update, I was quoted $780 for the 120k service. Quite surprised by how steep it is, guessing most of it is from the brake fluid+oil replacement stealership labour? What do you guys think? Just bought my own oil on sale for $30, plan to do the cabin filter change myself, and will be taking the car to my own mechanic to do the rest for me. Would be nice to get that logbook stamp, but $780 just feels a bit over the top.
  10. Ouch, was not expecting that haha. Anyway, I'll give an update when the service comes in and let you guys know what prices were associated with the dealers/mechanics. Thanks a lot :-)
  11. It's not so much about getting paid a premium, but the car will be easier to get rid of with the buyer being able to see it has been taken care of well having been serviced entirely at Lexus, opposed to Davo's Backyard down the road. But I understand your point! If I may I ask, what kind of prices have you been paying for your services there, seeing as you are a regular?
  12. Wow, that looks fantastic! Couldn't have asked for better myself.
  13. Thanks a lot for the help! :-) I'll be sure to ring around when the time comes and see how it goes, hopefully not too much as I've already been hit with our $800 rego renewal and $400 on a blown tire haha.
  14. Oh really? I'm located in Melbourne's South East, however I don't mind a bit of travel for quality service and a fair price! By Lexus mechanics, do you mean independent? Or a dealership's mechanic? I'm trying to stick to a dealership as to retain the value of the logbook, otherwise I would be going to a family friend for the service. Thanks for that! Might try supplying my own oil too then, however for some reason I get the feeling that dealerships won't like that as they probably lose a bit of potential money haha. May I ask, how much did you pay for your 75k? A friend of mine recently did hers and paid a whopping 1.2k, which seemed a bit too high.
  15. Missed it unfortunately, Still looking for a midpipe! *bump*
  16. Hi all! Soon enough I'll be bringing my 2011 IS350 F-Sport in for its first service in my ownership, and seeing as the previous owner had them all done at Lexus, and just to retain some value in the logbooks, I've decided to take mine to them too. I'll be in for the 120k service, which as far as I recall, is just the engine oil/filter replacement+some minor inspections. What prices have you guys paid for a 120k+ service at Lexus? What should I be expecting? Also, I'm aware they sometimes give out loan vehicles for the duration of your service, would it be realistic to request something specific (RC200t/350)? I've never had a service done at a dealership, let alone Lexus, so I have no idea what to expect from them. Thanks very much! Any experiences/advice would be appreciated :-)
  17. I'm currently running customer mufflers with a resonator delete and I think it sounds great. $120 is quite steep for a resonator removal though, you should be able to get it done for around $80. Resonator delete alone will barely do anything, I'd recommend custom mufflers, and if you want the extra sound, remove the resonator too.
  18. Colour of the housing is irrelevant as far as I know. As long as the lights are clearly visible, you won't have any issues.
  19. Looking to buy an Invidia Mid Pipe for the 06-13 IS250/350, preferably used for now to save $ on forking out for brand new. Cheers!
  20. Had a look at one myself recently, very elegant.
  21. Though there are a few on sale, I've only ever seen one on the road. They must be weekenders, or never driven!
