Ipod/iphone Integration

Hi All,

I just had the multimedialq VML installed I have a couple of issues at the moment if anyone can share some advice:

1. Audio is only coming out from the drivers side speakers.

2. Cannot seem to upgrade firmware. I do not get the "voice acknowledgement" but it does delete the firmware file from the USB stick but firmware version remains unchanged.

Current firmware is: v1.06/1.10/4.50

3. A really strange issue, since the install , the heated seats are on, even though the switch is off

Any ideas would be great.

Have you reconnected the seat switches.

Yep, just took it back in this morning....

The seat switches were plugged in... ?

Reseated all the cableing etc, but still no luck with the audio. We are going to replace the unit. Hopefully that works.

I have updated the firmware now as well...so i can play flac files.

Reviving an old thread ;) ...

Does anyone know if the original (VML) MultimediaLinQ will work in the 2011 ISF ? or do i need to get a VML - L2 ?

Is there a "better" system out there that i should be considering.

I typically use :

USB HDD - for Flac

Ipod - for mp3

You could try Yatour MO 7 media adapter and bluetooth adapter,both units available on Ebay.You may need to also order a Y lead.

My iPod has worked perfectly in my IS250 for 3 years. But since my last service the AUX button does not work, and also will not connect on the ''Audio" display.

I have checked the manual and disconnected and re-connected the iPod but nothing seems to work. Anyone else had this problem?

Do I need to go back to the dealer? (The iPod itself is working perfectly).

Apparently not, they will work with ours, well at least for the 2IS headunits.

I guess no one here has bought a VAIS recently?
