  1. Yeh i can say it is coming fromm the steering column, you know the place where you put in keys with normal cars.
  2. lol @ dollarness. Anyone wanting to part with what they got?
  3. Is th tapping noise metallic or plasticy? As for the noise i'm hearing, sounds much like when you stick a piece of paper into spinning fan.
  4. Ok i thnk there is some abnormal noise i can hear now. It sounds like a little paper fan and can be heard from the corner air vent during start up. Is this it?
  5. It's different but i can't really say it's much better than the above interior.
  6. Agreed. Looks like errr HSV lol. Why can't they put in branded sports seats like Hondas do in their sports cars, or atleast make it more sportier.
  7. The E46 manual are rare. I have only encountered SMGs with the E46 (and rarely 6sp). That reason i am lead to believe the 6sp was an option rather than standard but i guess both could have been made available from factory upon ordering at purchase. As for the E92, if SMG was only released 2 months ago, that would made the first batch of E92 with standard manual. I too have driven both SMG and 6sp E46 M3s and i prefer manual. In heavy traffic SMG but SMG is hard to drive/ park if you're not used to it. I will not be able to afford either IS-F or M3 but if i can and will get one, i'll get manual, just want the feel of manual shifting the old fashion way. Speed isn't everything but with these cars you need to be with them in the mind, body and soul.
  8. Try telling that to all the Porsche Touring drivers getting better launches and doing faster lap times out of the new PDK... Porches have their hands full with figuring out how to keep up with the new GTR. BMW in their new M3 have gone back to manual from factory SMG (manual was an option) after public outcry. No one say anything bad about the SMG, just that they all wanted the conventional manual to be standard, rather than optional. I think the IS-F should be manual with auto as optional.
  9. Pic of yourself or BAN. Ps, most of us here i'm sure aren't hoons who go after chicks for you know..., we may already have Gfs or wifes so post away in knowing that we just want to see you (if that meake sense) lol.
  10. Manual also weighs less. I don't know i just think the auto isn't made for sporty driving.
  11. $129K is highly attractive. I think definiately worth the bucks. A Manual 6sp to come for sure.
  12. It's called putting names to faces, especially those who "want" to be looked at, or those who say they are hot chick...get it?
  13. chick in blue 250 ay? This is a call for 3rd, 4th ... nth opinion. forget the pic of the car, just post pics of yourself lol.
  14. http://jalopnik.com/5057895/2009-is250c-released-in-paris Had a hard look and i still think it's a girl's car. Lexus should have given this more thought, the rear half doesn't flow with the front half...and it's too roundy.
  15. I got my 2 years service coming up, it this filter change part of it?
  16. I've got the rotten egg smell when using the air con and upon hard acceleration. Are you sure it's not coming from the vents?
  17. So $50 + the usual price? How do u know what spring rate you want, knowing Kings they set their normal rate to be low (for hard/firm ride). i'm keen on a 1" front and 1.5" rear on firm setting (for 18").
  18. You can tell by the "Bye" at the end of the post. Aint no boyz say that lol. Welcome!
  19. I can only wish i could pimp my ride. I'm keen on getting 1" front and 1.5" rear. Who does it do you kow?
  20. Im too looking for custom Kings drop. I want 1.5 rear and 1 front. I don't think it does too much harm to the shocks if you only lower it 1". that said it depends on your driving and where u drive your car.
  21. You could do that but i prefer to buy it earlier rather than latter. Next year it will be 2009 and going by previous models, 2010 might see a new model coming out. I own my car for 19 months now and replacing is still far from my mind. I'm just glad i bought it early love the fact that it's still new looking on the road if you know what i mean.
  22. It's nice to have the added options but it really boils down to how much you want to spend. If you are one of thoese who are conscious of resale value then think about it as well as. Eg. If you have 7K added option doesn't mean it is 7K more than a car without the option when you go to sell your car. It's the buyer's market when you sell your car if you get what i mean. I bought my prestige only, thinking i will do wheels and lowering myself and if need be TomTom it but i didnt feel the need get one to date. If you want luxury crusing with unrival comfort, can't go pass a Lexus.
  23. I have used 19' with king springs. I have also lowered the car as well. Hi stetch03, im interested in know how your ride goes. What was the kings height, and where did u do your lowering?
