I heard about this but not sure if i have it. At start up the only thing i hear is the rev sort of kicks up a notch before going down. Im not sure what this rattle noise is that people and you are saying.

Yeh, mine vibrate as well.

Yes the 250 was a new and not revised car. I would think from 2007 onwards all things not perfect would have been addresse. I'm happy i bought the car at the time i did, as 12/06 would have been registered and in 07. Having had the car now for 1.5 years i'm very happy, had in mind to only keep it for 4 years but so far i think i might extent that :)

Has anyone gotten this, if so how much are they and where to find one?

Guys i have 12/06 and i swear i cannot tell if there are any undue noise during startups. I mean how can u listen to something that lasts only 1 sec?

What is your opinion on the R8? I think it is massively overpriced, with the same engine as the RS4 why is it almost twice as much, this banger is asking for $280K. To me i'll only pay $140K tops. Sorry to rant for no reason but yeh i thought i get it off my chest ;)

That TSB says it happens for 1 sec, this is not going to be noticable. Also, i'm not sure what this rattles noise is. Can someone explain more.

I think when Lexus build the car, they were too scared of over tighening the seat rails, this is what solved my driver seat rattles (by re-tighenning the rails). Late 2007 models should be rattles free. I bought the car for it's mechanical reliability, and i think the 2.5L V6 is the best going round ... smooth and effortless.... For the cost of a Prestigue, you can't get a better car, guarantee.

This is a disaster to hear. I think Lexus has ALOT more to loose if you go to ACA, warn them or Corporate and have this settled before going to ACA. Man this doesn't sound like Lexus or be that Toyota, cos they are rich if you know what i mean.

Brent, another minor issue which is apparent in the IS is the vibration of the rear view mirror. Mine has it but i can live with it, however does any know the fix for this?

I think if all these issues are real (not saying you're lying), then Lexus should replace the car with a new one mate. To be honest with you the is250 is an exceptional car mechanically, and this was what i bought it for.

*BLEEP* that does not sound like a Lexus mate. The steering issue sounds non mechanical, have you gone to a tyre shop and have it checked out?

I dont bother cleaning my wheels, Prestige with 16? no point.

Mate, please read my first post. I said the shipping cost will be 917.76, regardless of the quantity purchased. So if one was purchased it will cost 917.76. If SIX was purchased, it will cost 917.76. If two sets was purchased, it works out to be 917.76 + (2 x 513.23) = 1944.22. $1944.22 between 2 people = US$972.11 If three sets was purchased, it works out to be 917.76 + (3 x 513.23) = 2457.45. $2457.45 between 3 people = US$819.15 Hope this clears things up! Talking about lowering the product cost and increasing the delivery cost. Overall it isnt too bad i suppose, if you like oem. My money is saved for rims.... :)

What K are your HID bulbs sidefx? and do the bulbs come with the kit?

Im torn between getting 18s or 19s. With sydney's *BLEEP*test road, Canterburry Rd, i would would weeping on 19s i'm sure, but 18s i feel isnt no where as good looking as 19s. With 19s i think it needs lowering but then adding up all the costs, could be decisive also.
