No. Even using the metal based tint had no effect.

Generally weekly for the wash. Mainly using Meguiars stuff. I don't like the look of a dirty car, and black looks great when clean, but looks dirty easily.

Mate, if u didn't know, it even works when the roof is on tilt! Seriously cool!! ...and you can close the windows and moonroof the same way, just with the lock button. Just in case you hadn't tried

If you press and hold the unlock button then the windows, and moonroof, will open. This is a great feature in summer. It seems some people have found this happen when the button is pressed against something in their pocket, and as such have come back to an unsecure vehicle. Could this have occurred?

I now have V14 that I burnt onto a DL DVD-R, and appears to work, but haven't tried it out on the road. It just automatically did the firmware update and then came up at my home address. :P I have attached 2 pictures showing the use of the extraction pins when removing the clock facia. You need to make sure they go all the way in, and then the face comes out very easily. I hope it helps someone. I know cevu was concerned pushing or forcing the pins, not much force is needed as they just need to slide past the holding clips.

OK then, so is it possible to mix and match the disc info? By this I mean, can the software from V12 be used on the same disc as the maps from V14. You could then do the software hack and still have the most recent maps.

Apparently this one needs to be activated EVERY time you restart the car if you want no traction control.

My understanding is the 07 and earlier models cannot do it. Apparently the 08 model can be programmed to auto lock the doors. Just what my dealer told me.

Keep the rubber clean and conditioned and it shouldn't be a problem.

Mine vibrates when I turn the music up, but no rattling.

Cevu I do like the Nova's. Make sure you do post some pics when you get them installed. who's supplying and installing? I also have the black on black combo, and get sick of cleaning the 10 spoke wheels. They look good but are a Bugga to clean

Mario Car is black and is generally OK with all over light swirls, a couple of scratches, some etchings, bird poop and rain. Never buffed. And would love the car to look similar to the one you done here. A lot of the swirls are from poor cleaning technique when I first got the car. Soft paint and not had black before. I'd like to find someone locally that can do some corrective work every year or two.

Yes each individually. I've used Nokia N73 and N95. both worked.

I don't think you can transfer a whole phonebook in one update. Mine were all done individually, and the dealer did all the original ones whilst I was finalising the financing. Everyone since then has been done seperately

Mine certainly doesn't play MP3 from DVD. CD yes, but not DVD.

The link didn't work for me. Isn't that TSIB from the USA? So yours is getting done and you only had to mention the startup rattle? I reckon I've heard it a couple of times with mine, but not sure if I imagined it due to doors closed and radio on. I'll try startups with the door open for a while to see if I notice anything.

Music DVD or Movie DVD will be the same, if it has a region coding that is not 4 it won't work. The advantage of using the music DVD is you get the full surround sound of the ML system, not just the usual stereo for music CD's, MP3's etc.
