Jeez Brent that's harsh. I've had nothing but joy from mine. Had it for 12 months and have only needed some adjustment to sensitivity of auto headlights, and get really pissed off with brake dust. Seems to put my problems into perspective. Good luck with a resolution, but sounds like a replacement is in order.

I will be looking at Toyo's when it's time to change. Good price compared to Dunlop and Bridgestone, and growing in reputation. They get a very good rap for noise and performance from other forums. Otherwise I am happy with the Dunlop sport maxx as OEM fitting, but will check the pricing when it gets closer to replacement.

No, Australian models. Yes, if you add extras then that money is immediately lost on redbook. What I'm suggesting is you can buy 3 different levels that have various options that will depreciate from that level (unless you add extras), but the Sports luxury has it all and no other options available, therefore you are not prone to the losses. If you get a euro car and all the Lexus bits for the sports luxury you end up well over $100k on road. If you have the prestige or sports then you would probably be better off getting your own Nav system that you can take with you.

I agree with Natroth. The car is sold 'as is' and so will depreciate from there. BMW, Merc, Audi et al, all give a fairly basic car and it's very easy to then add loads of money for sports suspension, satnav, moonroof, xenon lights, radar cruise etc etc etc. that will never be added to the car before depreciation starts, especially for redbook. One of the very reasons I went with the Lexus, and still love it.

Ghast We may need to swap wives, mine doesn't like the moonroof open I'm 6' an have no issue with headroom. I do like the footbrake, again because the wife complains I pull the handbrake on too hard in our other cars. It really is a great place to sit whilst transporting yourself from one spot to the next. I'm still smiling and I've had mine nearly a year. :P

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. :( :( I've had several small door dings remove with this method and it is very effective and cheap. Basically they caress the dent out from behind, therefore they need to be able to get behind the offending area. Door panels etc are usually easy. I suspect you will need a repairer though if you have dents near pillars or areas that are inaccessible.

Very Nice, but more than I'm willing to put in at present. Although..with the Aussie dollar vs US at present the price comes down....hmmmm. Had a 4 hour drive in the Lex today, and I just love the radar cruise control. Just leave it on 110kph, even through town if your following others. No stress, just go with the flow. :P
