Sorry guys... been flat out fixing dead servers for clients lately, so very little time spend online. I'm happy enough to go the text route. I've been doing similar for the Soarer club for years, so it won't be hard to add a few more to the collection. White vinyl is very noticeable on car glass. Very good for attention grabbing, plus it's the cheapest vinyl I can get. Silver does look good too, and I have a roll of gold I use very frequently for the Soarer club to add a bit of class.

Believe me, 153kw is nicer than 400. You can't enjoy a 400kw setup as an every day car. It was far too much power for a street car... I was rarely able to get traction, even with 285 wide tyres on the rear. Best I ever did at the drags was a 13.2 pass. Turned the boost all the way down to 12psi which gave me ~300kw, launched in 2nd gear and still did a 350m "burnout" only getting grip right before the line. I did pass the line at 200km/h though, indicating the car had potential to be a low 10 second car if the grip was available. The car was equally useless at the track... best time at Wakefield was 1:18. I had a smart Roadster with 52kW at the wheels and it used to get 1:21 lap times. It's not all about the power, it's about the package. Ideally the IS350 would be my ideal setup. No mods.

Finally got myself into gear... check out these two so far of the rear: Not sure which one people will like, but I can offer both. Also working on a side profile, but can't quite get it right. The IS250 doesn't seem to have any outstanding features when viewed side on so it's hard to make the graphic representative of the car easily: Let me know what you think so far.

Subconscious or not, the ECU in my last car could easily tell the difference between fuel types by showing the activity on both knock sensors in real-time. Optimax/V-Power being hugely inferior to Ultimate and 8000. I never ran any lower octane than 98 as the car wouldn't idle nor drive properly. This said, it was a 400kW turbocharged 3 litre so the tune was quite custom.

... and are now 50hp less powerful because of it. Ethanol blends have less specific power than "normal" petrol variants. This is an interesting read about E20 testing: http://www.environment.gov.au/atmosphere/fuelquality/publications/2000hours-vehicle-fleet/index.html I've decided against putting ethanol fuels the vehicles I own. If E10 is half the strength of E20, things still don't look too good. I can't believe the amount of corrosion shown in the report in less than 3 months of testing.

1. ilv1004s 2. dis-lex-sic 3. LEX5 1S 4. IS25XI 5. Lalo 6. 00100100 7. Terrrrry (Hopefully!) 8. Atlantis I can assist by leading the Wollongong bit of the cruise since I live down here. Probably best to meet either at Maccas at the bottom of the mountain or out near the lighthouse and I can guide from there. I was on a cruise a few weeks back with some lovely twisties up and back down Macquarie Pass if you guys are interested in trying that.
