  1. Mine is set to "Standard" and behaves like a forum should... all the posts in line on one page. No clicking for each reply.
  2. They didn't imply the IS300 was the IS-F equivalent... but something along the lines of after the IS200 was released, they realised it was a slow arse piece of crap and decided to offer the IS300 part way through the IS lifespan. Each time I ask them, the answer is still the same... no IS350 in AU :(
  3. Click on Options (sort of top right hand area) then change the Display Mode to one you like.
  4. My dealer (Sutherland) said there is no way we're getting the IS350 over here. It's been out ages elsewhere, but not coming here. The reason the IS300 came out here is apparently it was released after the IS200 to fill a gap, but now the gap has been filled by the IS-F. I still see a huge gap, and would have opted for the IS350 without blinking an eye if it was available.
  5. Just wondering if anyone has access to wiring diagrams for the 2009 model IS250. Things have changed in regard to the Nav screen, and I need a bit more info before cutting into the wrong wires. Basically wanting to do the Nav hack, but know 100% that the wiring has been changed by Lexus so need some more up to date info. I will share the results in the Nav hack thread once I work it out. Cheers. PS. Not having any luck on the US sites at this stage either :(
  6. In case the video disappears, this is what I gathered from it: - Ensure foot brake is disengaged - Hold foot on brake and start engine then remove foot - Engage the foot brake - Press the brake pedal twice - Release the foot brake - Hold foot on brake - Engage and release the foot brake twice - Engage foot brake - Press brake twice I'll try it tonight and see how if it works with an '09 properly.
  7. 1st gear on the 2009 has remarkable acceleration. I can't say the same for 2nd though. I've never driven a pre 09 model, so can't compare to the old model :(
  8. Credit card key works just like the regular keys we all have, except SL owners can keep one in their wallet and not have to bring a fob around with them. It's powered by an ultra thin lithium battery, and is supplied in addition to the 2 fobs.
  9. - New front bar and grille - New side mirrors with indicators - New tail light design I picked up mine 2 weeks ago. I prefer the new front to the old one.
  10. Spotted black IS-F on Market St. in the city on Sunday morning around 10am... tailed by a week-old graphite IS250 (me!).
  11. They apparently come out of the same factory as the OE ones, so (if true) would be identical to genuine Lexus ones. They are in the USA, but the price saving is in the thousands even if you factor in $ conversion and shipping. A set of these from Lexus Australia are $4500 from the quote I got last week at my local dealer.
  12. These guys seem quite good: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/O-E-Wheels__W0QQ_armrsZ1 Do a search for IS250 to find relevant wheels.
  13. Mostly likely steam from condensation build-up in the exhaust system. Nearly all cars do it.
  14. I'm in... as long as it's after next Saturday. My new IS rolled off the boat yesterday in Wollongong and will be ready for pickup on Friday.
