  1. My tip is, don't snap the tool like I did :( Once you shove them both in, just work it out gently by rocking side to side.
  2. If you're ever down in Wollongong, we can check it against my colour charts. I have a few hundred colours to pick from, but can't seem to find anything too close judging by what I see on the screen. I could also bring the charts to a meet...
  3. Mildly amusing story about this evening...I was out driving to get dinner and a car pulls up behind me at the lights. Driver stares at the back of the car (custom plates) and the new stickers for a little while. I think... hmm, wonder what his problem is. I drive off from the lights then realise he's behind me in an IS200/300. Hopefully we might have a new user browsing the forums if he remembers the address!
  4. Plenty of patience indeed... However, my vinyl supplier stocks vinyl specifically made for wrapping vehicles. The easiest things you can do are the bonnet, boot and roof. It all becomes harder with complex curves such as the grille etc. If you are interested in a price, I can PM you the price of a roll of the vehicle wrap specific stuff. Rolls are 46m in length, and come in 610mm or 1220mm width.
  5. Fiiiiinally... I have awaken! Here we go, two samples on my rear window. Close up: Full rear shot for perspective Feedback?
  6. I'm happy to keep redesigning to maximise the number of happy people... I will only start producing once everyone (or nearly everyone) can agree. I have to head off to Melbourne for a confererence on Saturday, but I'm willing to cut a few different sizes, stick them to the rear window and take some shots to show them to you guys. I will be back on Monday!
  7. Believe me, to be scaled to 15mm high, it needs to be 500mm wide. I can squash it to be shorter, but you'll end up with a sticker that looks nearly identical to the sample I posted right before this one. Measure it out on your screen as width divided by height (ratio) and you'll see that it will end up 500mm wide if made 15mm high :( Best I can do to make the font look "normal" unfortunately. If anyone looks at the "Lexus of xxxxx" sticker on their rear window (if they haven't peeled it off yet) it's barely ~10mm tall and over ~300mm wide from memory (can't measure exactly as the car is not here with me at the moment).
  8. When are they available to order? I've got an August 09 IS250 with 5,000km I want to replace with a 350.
  9. Will do another run tonight... sticker cutter is currently doing a job, so I'll send it something extra at the end of the job.
  10. Sure did... will try your suggestions when I get home... whenever that may be :(
  11. They don't use much vinyl, so it'll be $5 or less per sticker. Slighly updated design due tomorrow... still at work at the moment :P
  12. Here we go: 300mm x 17mm Seems to lose a slight bit of elegance when stretched upwards though. I could increase the width, but this can make postage slightly more difficult.
  13. Does anyone know what typeface that is? Can't seem to locate it at the moment. Sizes are easily changeable once the design is in the cutting program.
  14. Just testing with white vinyl since I have heaps of scraps lying around: 300mm x 10mm What do we think?
  15. Okay guys... seems there's been somewhat of a decision made. I'll whip up a few samples early in the week and post some pics up. If they are liked, I can start shipping by the end of the week.
  16. Are you forgetting the ES300 that quickly? Anyway, this is just a Corolla with a new coat of paint
  17. We managed to gather a cruise of 70 Soarers back in 2003 down in Melbourne... that was a fantastic sight. I've never been to another car meet which has so many identical bodies cars in attendance.
  18. Different sizes are easy once the design is finalised... they will be in vector format, so I can resize to any dimensions without loss of quality.
