  1. Remote wire is pretty easy... just find a switched 12v source anywhere in the car and use that.
  2. From dead still, it should use 1st to launch. Snow will make it start in 2nd to reduce slippage.
  3. You could probably convert to coilovers for not much more than that.
  4. 450h should also use less fuel than the 350, so factor that into the calculations as well. I'd buy a 450h over a 350 any day.
  5. Or just not be a dick and SMS while driving... it's not just the driver who is at risk, it's the innocent people in other cars or pedestrians.
  6. Don't be scared by the 2.5L in the GS. I've driven the both the new GS250 and GS350 around the track and they are both great cars. The tuning on the GS250 makes the engine more responsive than the IS250 setup. The GS will also be loaded with up-to-date features, whereas the IS will have to make do until the new generation is unveiled. The IS will drop it's value far quicker than the GS, as it's at the end of the model cycle and the GS is only at the beginning.
  7. I ran the same fronts as Danny and 275/30-20 rears with no scrubbing. 35 on the fronts definitely made it scrub.
  8. I'm going to say doubtful... rotary switch is quite different to a button in an electrical sense.
  9. And plenty of stickers available from me... usual cruise special. 2 for $5.
  10. Dunno why you'd want to change... I've used both and prefer the older style.
  11. Not sure what's with the strikeout font, but yes that is a drive-in/drive-out price.
  12. Amount of coils makes no difference in sound quality. It's about impedance matching to the amp.
  13. Pioneer and Alpine both do dual voice coil subs in the right diameter, but depth may be an issue. Pioneer do low profile subs which would probably be suitable. The factory uses Pioneer parts in the Prestige models anyway, so there's probably a decent chance one would work.
  14. I've wrapped two white IS250 roofs in black. Ask Terry or Denis for photos.
  15. You might want to post this into the separate car sections as well... I didn't hear about this until Chris just mentioned it to me. I only ever check the IS forum, so would never have seen this :( That being said, I will be there!
  16. As long as you get the service done by a licenced mechanic, factory warranty remains valid. Don't let a dealer convince you otherwise.
  17. Hehe, I've been trying to keep the car as stock as possible for as long as possible. Car is semi for sale. Can't make up my mind whether I want to keep it or not, so I can't do any mods that would be better spend on the next car lol. Unfortunately I haven't heard any Tanabe exhausts on an IS with my own ears. Only video clips.
