Actually not what I was talking about but I agree with you Danny In the eyes of the law you're being a tool...so you get pulled over. Same as the law states I get a fine if I'm being a tool and speeding. Being a tool/idiot/hoon is what we're all doing when we get pulled over. Wouldn't get pulled over otherwise. The cop was actually pretty good to you...the law states you should have been given an $84 fine that incurs 1 demerit point for being a tool with your fog lights on when there is no fog. He let you off. You should be thankful. A tough cop would have put you through the mincer just for your attitude.

Originally in the IS250 prestige if you optioned Sat Nav it also got ML Audio. For IS250's from December 2008 production onwards that no longer applied. Also from Dec '08 production, 17 inch wheels were introduced on the prestige IS250 replacing the 16's.

Early LS430's had the mirrors fold in linked to the ignitition being switched off. If the mirror folds in when you turn the ignition off you can't see whats coming before you open the door. Great way of collecting cyclists or losing your door. After a short period, Lexus mirror folding was changed so it was linked to the lock/unlock of the doors. Just a thought.

All manual IS250's have a pull type handbrake from factory. Its only the auto IS250's that have a foot type park(hand) brake.

USB iPod integration is now standard in IS250, IS-F, GS300, GS450h, GS460, LS460 & LS600hL so in the general section is probably a better choice. Only for the fact that you've got more chance of somebody having an answer for you. Its not related to Whereis nor is it limited to cars that use their data. IS250 without nav has USB/iPod input for example. As suggested try connecting via iTunes for any itunes updates. This has worked for me in the past with a similar problem.

Why not a fully optioned Prestige? It'll still have lots more features than your Audi. Plus you'll get a later model with less Km's for your money. Just a thought as there are more of them out there.
