Not quite Aircon. You can't "enable" speed cameras from the data on the DVD as there is no function for it in the system. It would be great though. What you can do is program or input a speed camera warning yourself using your memory points. There are a couple of ways of doing it so writing out instructions will take me a while and probably be a bit long winded but I'll give it a go and then post it up.

Hey, for those that are interested in the LFA, here is a bit of a heads up on the advertising that is coming up for it. It will feature in next Tuesday's Top Gear episode. Don't miss it. Wait til you see the dash board in this thing. To coincide with this Lexus will run a new LFA TV commercial. It will air for the first time on channels Nine, Seven & SBS between 8.30-9.30pm which is straight after its been on Top Gear. That's Tuesday the 13th.

A USB/iPod module for the RX450h is now available as an after market accessory. As you said it should be factory fitted as it is in the rest of the range. Its probably the only thing to add to the car. Your dealer should be able to supply if you want one.

Welcome Phamish. Lucky wife getting a new RX450h....Happy wife...happy life huh Phamish The RX450h is an awesome car. Its such a better car than the RX400h, a massive improvement in fuel consumption and it has more power. Its about 580kg heavier than an IS250, has 220kw, is all wheel drive and yet it uses less fuel than an IS250. In some ways its the best car in the range in my opinion. Plus the thing I really like is the large number of features that the driver can customise from the steering wheel. Simply with your right thumb. Have you got the Sports Luxury? Its got some great new features. The Heads Up Display (HUD) holographic speedo/info display on the windscreen is brilliant. It should be available on the whole range. The passenger side camera is a handy item once you get the hang of it. One thing I'm not totally convinced on yet is the Lexus Remote Touch replacing the touch screen nav system but it does have some pluses and is growing on me. As its a new model there isn't much info about it here yet, not like there is for the other models. If you have any questions on the RX450h feel free ask away.

That sounds like a long time to wait for an "order to built" Lexus? Hot colour choice, what colour interior?? I had one this colour last year...looks unreal in the direct sun. Only thing that sucks is that the manual sports package isn't the F sports??? Why do Lexus Australia make the auto sports the F sports(awesome) package but manual the normal sports package???

Sort of!!! Try pressing & holding the "MODE" button on the steering wheel with your left thumb. It kills the stereo. Simply press again to turn the stereo back on.

If you are a repeat customer or friendly with a dealer you may only be a few grand off a 2010 spec demo. The MY 2010 includes some good improvements like 17 inch staggered width wheels, tweeked auto gearbox, better EMV interface & USB stereo input. Thats what I'd look at if I going to drop that many spondulicks. ;) What colours in an IS250 are you looking at??? That sound expensive for a 2 year warranty extension from what I've heard, but I've never bought one so wouldn't know Hey "theconcierge" does your name come from you working at a 5 star hotel in Canberra??? The next ALOC drive after Wollongong could be an overnighter in Canberra if thats the case.

Would've been awesome to meet LH in person to see what he's really like. My prediction for Sunday is an odd one but one I am fairly certain of. After Bahrain I think there is more pressure than ever to get a good start. With most of the top teams one stopping and over taking seemly so difficult in the current cars, I think a first corner crash involving some of the front runners the best prediction I can make. It is so important to pass and also not to be passed that the first corner will be wild. Therefore I predict 2 or 3 of the top 5 will be out on the first lap. Winner: Fairytale, Mark Webber. Pity no one else on here is an F1 fan....but great thread for us anyway.

I thought Palm Beach was the destination? Macquarie Pass??? I think Wollongong from Sydney is more than far enough.
