  1. Yes hopefully something simple, ISF's are pretty tough. as the exhaust is newish, it could have something to do with it. Lexus will plug there computer into your ISF, and all will be revealed. just to be safe, I wouldn't drive it until you get it checked.
  2. If it was me, I would book it into Lexus straight away and have it checked out.
  3. Yes it came in late 09, I think they called it a my 10.
  4. It's good to see your beast, I like the colour.
  5. Good street pads Project Mu B Spec. I use them on my ISF, low dust and they feel good.
  6. They will get quieter over time, you can take the front pads off and give them a skim which helps, but remember after the next track day the squeal will be back. you can put better pads on for the track, but if you leave them on for road use, they make so much dust and are a little noisy anyway.. I have a second set of front rotors and track pads, that I fit for track days, that way my street rotors and pads stay good.
  7. They should be fine, but they will squeal after a track day. they are good brake pads. I have changed mine to Project Mu.
  8. It looks good how it all moves around, I like how the tyre bends, when I turn right.
  9. Here is a video bit of under my ISF, looking at the front left wheel at Wakefield last Wednesday. what a fun day it was. Hope this works. https://youtu.be/5LRmt3ZmbzY
  10. Nice photos of your ISF, BCHLER. Vaku, great photo of your ISF.
  11. Hello Sparky, I have a JoeZ exhaust & PPE headers, & I think sounds fantastic at the track. I was using 2 GoPro cameras for this video. I have a RaceChrono lap timer with an external GPS receiver (which picks up more satellites then a phone), and also gives me GPS speed, track position & G info as well. I also have a OBDII Bluetooth transmitter that I plug into the ISF's OBD port, which is under the dash. I use this to get the engine revs & throttle info from my ISF to my lap timer. Then I use the info from the lap timer and place it on the GoPro video, using a computer program called TrackVison, which overlays it on the video. you then take the pieces you like and join them together using another program, and you have seen the end result. I think the video is much better to watch with all the info on it
  12. Here is a video from my ISF at Wakefield on Wednesday. what a fun day it was. I hope this works https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utk2WWxVdxw&feature=youtu.be
  13. I remember talking to you now, sorry about that. I can't remember been introduced to each other, or maybe not by your online name. anyway, what a fun day it was. I working on a video to put up.
  14. What a fun day it was at Wakefield on Wednesday. It was hot. It was good to catch with everyone, including ISFBloke & Vaku. BCHLER I didn't know you were there. I did see another silver ISF there, that must have been you. anyway it was a good day.
  15. Looking very good. you well enjoy the ISF, great vehicle.
  16. Thank you for the info. as this is my first time there, I'll take an instructor with me on the first session. I think it will be a great day.
  17. Hi Andrew, no I still have the Cup + tyres, but with any luck I should wear them out on the 9th, and then I'll get the Cup 2 tyres. are you still running Cup 2 tyres? I can't wait to try Wakefield out, it's a clockwise track.
  18. Thank you. It would be good, but I'm heading down to Goulburn on Tuesday morning. it will be good to see you and ISFBloke there, and hopefully more.
  19. Yes I'll be there as well. already had the ISF checked over, and my track mags fitted. I have never been to Wakefield before, cannot wait to learn the track. it should be a fantastic day.
  20. If you are going to get an ISF, you should get the latest model that's in your budget. the 2014 model looks good, as the RCF and GSF have been released, ISF prices have dropped. It has different material on the seats, centre console cover and on the door trims, with an F logo embossed on the front headrests, carbon fibre rear spoiler and LED fog lamps. it also has the softer suspension, the latest shocks and all the bling of the later models I also like the early model, they just look cleaner, and the mag wheels look fantastic, with those samurai swords exhaust fan wheels, there only half an inch thinner than the later models, but have the same size tyres. I have fitted the torsen diff from a later model to my 2009 ISF and it is better, a worthwhile upgrade. MR2QIK said "most people would likely find the first iterations handling to be beyond their capabilities" ????? What a load of rubbish!! I have a 2009 model ISF which I take to the track twice a year, I have never noticed any such issue. Any ISF is a good model, you will enjoy it.
  21. It's good to carry the camera around, you never know when a photo opportunity will present itself.
  22. Yes, only one road in and one road out was a setup for a major traffic jam. when I left the Cars and Coffee event and turned left onto Woolwich Rd, the traffic jam started for people leaving and for those trying to get there, it was a bit of a mess. But Clarke's Point is a lovely spot. as this was my first time at one of these events, I was surprised at how many average cars were there. After the locals and everyone complains, I'm sure it will not be held there again.
  23. My ISF at Cars & Coffee Woolwich.
