  1. BLK ISF, yes I ordered them both from the RR Racing web site, they take PayPal which was easy. now I just have to wait for them to turn up. It has blue pipes in there picture of the air/oil separator. I would have liked black as well.
  2. They both sound fantastic Sparky. I ordered the RR Racing, air/oil separator & there USRS bushes on the weekend. It will be good to get them installed, once they turn up. I have only heard good things about them.
  3. shobotan, Thanks, and they are a fun day. it’s not often you get a clear run. You will enjoy the ECU tune. Sparky, The tyres are fun to watch. they work hard, and I was running 46 psi hot. I have ordered the RR Racing bushes & there oil separator, It will be good to get them installed.
  4. Well here are 2 laps in my ISF after the ecu tune at Eastern Creek, (SMSP) Brabham Circuit. I found that after the tune, I was using 3rd gear in some corners where I used to use 2nd. it just feels more responsive. You can see the sprinkles on the windscreen, I had some bugs on there as well & didn’t want to smudge them with the wipers. it only just started to sprinkle and the track was still dry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn2MD-c97KM
  5. Hello 2bling, no it is not the same motor. it has an 3 litre inline 6, 2JZ-GE. All GS models are rear wheel drive, the ES is front wheel drive and is a different vehicle. In 2005 Lexus changed the GS to a 3 litre V6, and still rear wheel drive.
  6. MR2QIK, I did not ask Sonny if he could do that, but he might be able to. It feels much nicer to drive, I think I know your mods, you should get it done. Give Sonny a call.
  7. Yes videoing your track day is a great idea, you can relive the day. videoing from the sun roof will give you a good view of yourself driving, and some outside footage. but unless it is mounted around shoulder level, you don’t see much out the front as the camera is blocked by the rear view mirror. The longer the mount for the camera is, you get more flex and vibration, and the camera moves around with the G forces. a light camera helps, try and keep the mount as short as possible. Also videoing from the middle of the vehicle the camera adjust the light for inside, and the outside bits are over exposed. Just try lots of different spots, and see which one you like. “Harry lap timer” says it will work with the OBD and the 20 Hz GPS receiver, which will give better accuracy, and can be mounted outside your ISF or on the inside of the sun roof for stealth, for a better GPS signal. it is great having the taco and GPS speed on the video. You will have a fun day.
  8. BLK ISF, I think that was me. No more mods planned at the moment, but let’s see what comes along. I’ll just enjoy it the way it is. (I should of left the watch in my ISF, I would have had another 10kw) I been for another drive today, and the throttle is more responsive, it’s almost like I’m in sports mode when in normal mode. I’m happy..
  9. Well I had the ECU dyno tune carried out today. and I’m happy. I have not been for a good drive yet. But I gave it a couple of goes in 2nd, and wow.. Like Sparky said, it has moved the power everywhere, not just the top end. and is nicer to drive. I ended up with 288 kw atw.. before the tune I had 267kw atw. I have an intake tube, PPE headers and Joe Z exhaust.
  10. That’s great news. yes I saw that restriction on the original exhaust manifold, when I had my PPE headers fitted, it’s good to have the restriction removed. Thanks for all the photos and information. That’s a good gain. enjoy.
  11. You will enjoy the ISF, fantastic vehicle.
  12. Hello Nick, good to know you are enjoying your GS, great vehicle. 500,000km good to hear, I was been conservative when I said 300,000+km, if looked after, should be no problem. I call my GS LTuned a mobile lounge room, plenty of room and very comfy. I rarely take my ISF (which is a fantastic vehicle) on the highway, as the GS has more room and a bigger boot, & is just as good to drive on the highway, except it has half the power of my ISF. once the cruise control is turned on, you cannot tell.
  13. Looking good, BLK ISF. Good tyres Michelin PSS, I use them myself. I'm also running 245/35 and 265/35. next time I might try 275/35 on the back.
  14. All true. sorry, but I will be at the September event. Hopefully see you there.
  15. I will pass. Wakefield, that’s a good track. I’m sure you will have a fun time.
  16. The single malt sounds good, but the watch would last longer.
  17. I looked at this watch for about a year at Lexus, and thought if I don’t get it, there will be none left. so I purchased this ISF watch from Lexus back in 2011, it’s a good watch. It cost much more than the eBay one. I agree with BLK ISF, when I wear it, there is at least 10kw more at the wheels….
  18. Hello Nick L You will enjoy your GS 300, they are a nice vehicle. I have a 2003 GS Ltuned model, which I believe is the same shape. I now have 159,000km on mine and have had no major issues, only normal stuff like brake pads, rotors, oil changes, just keep it serviced. they are very reliable and well built, it’s a Lexus. Mine doesn’t use any oil between services, I recon they will go past 300,000km easily. I just traveled in my GS down to Tasmania, drove around it and back to Sydney, almost 7000km, and the GS didn’t miss a beat. Take it for a long drive on the highway, the GS are a great highway cruiser.
  19. I think it would look awesome in any ISF.
  20. It’s one of the better looking steering wheels, and I like how it has the F at the bottom like the standard wheel. most aftermarket do not have the F on the wheel.
  21. Here are a couple of my GS Ltuned in Tasmania. We went for a drive around Tasmania. What a nice place it is.
  22. The supercharger does sound good. but, too much modifications, and far too bling. It’s only 3.2 psi why are the pipes so large? But if you had a track or drag ISF only, it would be fun.
  23. Sadly I will not be able to make this one.
